Thanks to Gregg and Stephen from mold.ca for mould remediation work that was done in my basement.
Due to water intrusion I was seeing a lot of suspicious areas on the walls and floor.Gregg assessed the situation and confirmed the presence of mould.He provided a detailed account of what the process would entail and gave me a written quote. Mold.ca were very professional,discrete and respectful of my property,answered all concerns promptly and left the work site neat and tidy.It was a very positive experience for a not so nice problem

After having some mold and water issues with my basement I contacted a number of companies for assessments and quotes to correct the issue. The team at Mold.ca came highly recommended, and they lived up to their reputation. They were true to their estimate, they were punctual, and throughout the entire process kept in constant communication, and took time to update us on their progress and findings. The crew was polite, professional, and attentive (even remembering to lock the back door when they left!). They made what started as a very scary situation (new home, 8 months pregnant, health risks of mold, etc) very bearable, and for that, we are grateful. The containment of the affected area was very well done too, completely sealing off the basement, and creating a negative pressure setting to ensure no contamination of our living space occurred. We hope never to work with them again ;), but should we encounter mold again, Gregg and his team are the only ones we’d call.

I found Gregg from mold.ca to be very professional, informed and reassuring. I had two small areas of mold, both of which ended up being bigger than they looked. At my request, I asked him to go through many other areas of the basement that I had questions about. He did so, and was very thorough and honest. His team did a great job of removing the affected areas cleanly and efficiently. He also spent a lot of time explaining the process, and what the cause was. I have children with allergies, so now I feel much better that my basement is clean. I would not hesitate to recommend Gregg and his team in the future for mold detection and removal.

Greg came to inspect the area a few weeks ago and explained the cost involved in removing the wall, removing the mold and then another cost to replace the drywall. This allowed me flexibility with regards to chosing mold.ca to remove the mold and perhaps a handyman to replace the drywall. I ended up using them for both procedures. I am glad I did as they did an excellent job. They were clean, friendly and efficient.

As a recent owner of a new house we were quickly exposed to the trials and tibulations of home ownership after a severe rain storm which resulted in mold developing in our basement. Going into our meeting with Gregg from mri-mold.ca we were quite concerned about how extensive and expensive this repair job was going to be. However, after our intial meeting all our fears had been calmed. So much so that we didn’t bother looking elsewhere. Gregg was a pleasure to deal with and walked us through our situation with the perfect amount of detail. Enough for us to understand the situation and the necessary actions but not so much that we just felt overwhelmed. After agreeing to work with Gregg and his team we were amazed, and relieved, that they were able to get in so soon and get the job done so quickly. What was even better was Gregg was willing to work with us in helping keep the costs down. In the end we couldn’t have been more pleased with the overall outcome. Not only was all the mold removed but the unfinished walls and floors, in the part of the basement that was wet,were scrubbed and painted and where now actually usable. Beyond that Gregg was also very open to explaining to us how best to prevent mold from developing in the first place, which was impressive as he would get more business if he didn’t teach his clients this. In the end he even provided us with some mold resistant wood and drywall at no charge! That really showed us that while he was running a business he genuinely cares about his client’s well being. Having said all that, while I hope to never have to need mold removal services again, I would definitely recommend Gregg and his team at mri-mold.ca to any friends/family who have the unfortunate luck of ending up in a similar situation.

We had mold in our cold room, so we contacted Gregg to inspect our house and to provide a solution to our problem. He brought his equipment and inspected the room and after 30 min he explained the situation clearly and gave us a rough estimate immediately. Few days later his crew came and remediated the mold. They worked 2 days, cleaned all things we had in the room and when they left, it was like we never had a mold problem. We would not hesitate to recommend him.
