I found Charlie ( Mr. Rescue) based on the wonderful reviews I read on homestars. He helped us with various projects on my "to do" list around the house- inside and outside. He shaved off the decayed part of our garden gate and replaced the part of the fence it connected into. I appreciated that he did this rather than insisting on replacing the whole gate ( which another handyman had insisted on) and so saved us money. Charlie also figured out how to put a lock on a study door that had warped over time. He sealed cracks and openings in our home.,hung pictures into the brick above the fireplace, and bricked in a large hole in our outside wall where an air-conditioning unit was taken out.Charlie had a very strong work ethic. He arrives when he says he will , and stays until the work is done. My husband and I have a lot of faith in how Charlie assesses a job and how it needs to be done. Charlie's dad was a contractor and Charlie worked alongside learning. Now his son works with Charlie- the third generation. Charlie has great expertise and goes the extra mile to make sure every task is completed perfectly.I will definitely hire Charlie again, and I highly recommend him.
