Rick is the man should you ever need a home inspector. His ad is an understatement of the level of quality of service he actually delivers.I was very pleased with the way he did the inspection: thourough, detailed, took the time to look, explained whatever questions we had; and most of all, he has the personal skills, knowledge, competence, tools and equipement to deliver the kind of high quality service customers expect.

We hired Rick Strand to do an inspection on a home we were thinking about buying. He pointed out a lot of major deficiencies in the house and saved us from making a big mistake. He did a great job and explained everything very well.

There's a reason why all the reviews give 10 out of 10. Rick was a true professional. First and foremost he takes the time to explain to you every detail he is observing throughout the inspection (good, bad or just a plain observation). He was very knowledgable and thourough. He inspected our home for 6 hours!

His report offered very specific recommendations for deficiencies that should be addressed immediately, vs. minor details that could be corrected at your discretion.

If you're buying a home it's the biggest purchase you're likely to make. You're better off spending a little extra money to get a guy who gets 10/10 from all his customers.

We are in the process of buying our first home. We received a referral from another home inspector to try Strand Home Inspections. Rick Strand encouraged us to be there during the whole inspection. We stayed the 3 ish hours it took to complete. The more questions we asked, the more we learned. He suggested small improvements that could prevent bigger problems and costs in the future. We were impressed with how thorough and open he was. I would recommend him to friends and family. If you want to know what is going on in your future home, I would use Rick.

If you're only looking for a real-estate conditional-sale rubber stamp, and can afford to purchase keep a neglected home - stay away. If you REALLY want to know the state of what you are buying, Rick is your man!

Rick is an extremely detailed and a professional inspector. You clearly get the impression that his is working for the homeowner and not the builder or the realtor. He is definitely worth it!

Rick was everything you could ever want in a home inspector. He was super thorough, used an infrared camera, took pictures of everything, and had a great report. I can't say enough good things about him, he was worth every penny. He found 4 major problems in a property we were about to buy, and we will be using him again in the future. He was also available on short notice after Easter weekend, which we very much appreciated. We will never look for another Inspector again- he is the real deal!! He's friendly, knowledgeable, professional, showed up early (and didn't complain about us being late), and only books one inspection per day. We had our report that night! If you're considering hiring anyone else, you're making a mistake.
