I purchased a home with gold parks encore community. Great floor plan. There was a communications issue, but Nancy took care of everything and I was pleased with the way the house turned out.

I purchased a home in Gold parks Encore community in Jan 2017. In July I attended my colour selection appointment and gave some upgrades for approximately $40000. Of these, I upgraded all the tiled areas to an upgrade 5. On march 2018 I was scheduled for a pdi. At this time I realized the tiles on the ground floor were standard tiles and not the tiles I selected. When I contacted customer service they inform me that they didn't have my pre approval. Hence they decided not to add the upgrade in the ground floor. I got confirmation that the ground floor will be upgraded and I also signed and gave my credit card information for payment. I'm not sure in which third world I'm living in for such building standards and practices are applied. I signed and paid for the upgrades. And was given the most unacceptable answer. Now the best they can do is return my money ($ 1600 approx). For me to have the ugly standard tiles removed and have the upgraded tiles applied will be very costly and time consuming. This is not something I should worry about as the mistake was not mine.
