Lack of integrity, pure intent to rip off client.
First said he would need to change the flapper with the handle but he might not have the part and so I would be paying for his trip to the store.
Then he said the whole flushing kit needed replaced and gave me the quote. Ended not doing anything.
Made me sign a quote of $ 227.00 on his iPad. Practically wanted to charge $ 300 for doing nothing ( $ 227.00 plus call fee of $ 59.00), according to him it was for "diagnosing the problem".No part change, no repair. I had to threaten him with report to BBB and actual reviews to have the charge changed to call fee. Spent 1/2 hour just going three times to the truck, on the phone with someone and trying to convince me to spend $ 397.00 before taxes to change the whole kit, when I had been straight forward with the receptionist first and the plumber when he came,that I needed him to change the toilet tank flapper only. I cannot believe such businesses are allowed to operate.
