Repair toilet and replace section of pipe in kitchen under sink
The plumbing company came on time. Two men came to work on the repairs. They did the toilet repair quickly with a small part that cost very little but tried to sell me a toilet that they just so happened to have in their truck that was $800.00. I said no thank you and that was far too expensive for me. The head fellow argued that this was a very good price for that particular toilet. The replacement to the kitchen pipe was done well and the two men were out promptly. Good work but I would not hire them again for them trying to sell me an expensive toilet that I did not need. They lost a customer because of that.

I am sorry that your experience was so not as good as it could have been. I have gone through our records to find what details I could.
From what I could find, we saw you in July of 2009, at that time there was some work required for the kitchen sink as the piping was cracked, this was carried out to your satisfaction as you mention above; Thank you.
Our notes also mention that the toilet was older and a crack was seen in the underside of the tank. With the crack in the tank alone, I would expect our technicians to offer you a new toilet as it making repairs to a toilet in that condition would not necessarily be in your best interest due to the probability that the crack could rupture at some point causing extensive damage.
The toilets we carry on our vans (not $800) are our deluxe model and though they have a higher price tag; are excellent toilets, come with a 5 year trouble free warranty and the price include installation with removal and disposal of the existing one.
You should not have felt pressured into purchasing the toilet as it is not the company philosophy, if you did I apologize although It would have been nice to have heard about it sooner so that I could have addressed it.
