Monarch Kitchen Bath & Home

We initially started researching & planning for a large-scale Kitchen renovation over a year ago and met with a handful of companies to discuss ideas and learn more about them in an effort to identify the right Partner for the job. At some point in the early stages of the process, we were referred to Monarch and right from the very first meeting with Chantal, our eventual Designer, we could tell they were different. In a good way! Chantal encouraged us to think deeply about both function & aesthetic in each of our preliminary meetings and it was ultimately her outgoing personality, comforting demeanour, industry experience and GREAT ideas that set the hook. From the outset; Chantal was very patient with all of our questions regarding design, materials and overall project-scope so by the time it came for the hands-on work to begin, we were very confident that her style & recommendations were aligned with our vision. In fact; armed with confidence in our selection of Monarch and good vibes from all of the Monarch team members whom we met in the design phase, we expanded the scope of the project to cover the entire main floor of our home. Soon thereafter; walls started coming down. Literally. :) It was complex, involving numerous trades, and Monarch handled it all: demo, clean-up, beams, electrical, plumbing, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, drywall, trim, paint… you name it. Of course; there were bumps along the way… some unforeseen… a few that could have been prevented… but Monarch owned-it and did their best to identify & deliver effective resolutions in a timely manner. The resulting transformation of our main floor is special and exceeds our expectations. Our Kitchen is now the centerpiece of our home and our new Family hub. We are very impressed with the quality of the end product(s) and the craftsmanship. Equally impressive is the Team that Neil & Sharon have assembled. All of the Monarch crew that were onsite at various stages of the project were personable & professional. Across the board, they were always willing & able to answer our questions, were attentive to our requests and treated our home like their own. There are so many people that contributed to our new space and we can’t thank them all enough. Would I do it again? Not any time soon! But when our next suitable renovation comes-up Monarch will assuredly be our first and only call. We are delighted with the end result and would not hesitate to recommend Monarch to friends & family considering a similar renovation.
