kitchen fx

This was a comedy of errors from the get go. We went though 4 designers leading up to the installation (which was over 2 years ago) and it still is not complete. We are missing 4 doors and 2 are on backwards. Our entire kitchen was installed not taking into account our countertops (which were clearly identified in our many e-mails with designer #2), and were all too low. As others have stated, it's like pulling teeth to get them to come out and look at anything. We have finally given up as they won't return calls and have no desire to correct their mistakes. I would caution anyone looking to us this company as others we've run into have also had similar experiences.

From the beginning Don and the whole Kitchen FX team were friendly and professional. They worked with our vision and offered options that allowed us to come in under budget and exceeding our expectations. We loved the help of their in house designer at no extra cost! All this with a promise date that we could be done before Christmas and it was with no complications!!! Huge thanks to Kitchen FX

We hired Don LeBlanc to renovate our kitchen with new cabinets on the top and refaced cabinets on the bottom. It was a 3 day job, he told us. Almost a full year later, out kitchen is still not 100% complete, and KitchenFX is not coming back. The whole job has been a comedy of errors like I have never seen before.

Don's installers have returned so many times with cabinet boxes and doors and drawers and hinges that were wrongly sized and/or the wrong colour that I eventually lost count.

Getting Don out to see what was going on was like pulling teeth. On the last time he ame out to actually see the deficiencies with the kitchen, we made a shared Google doc to document them. A few of the 25-ish things got fixed, but not the rest. My husband actually had to go to Don's shop to retrieve the last door that had been fixed after having been stained the wrong colour, and installed it himself.

3 or 4 months went by with no word on fixing the rest, and then we got a phone message from KitchenFX asking us if our kitchen was done (wouldn't they know?) and asking for the balance due (about $1500 I think). I sent an email saying that the kitchen was not done, and inviting Don to come and take a look. No one ever responded. That was months ago. So our kitchen is almost done. But not done. And unless we hire another company to come in and finish it, it's not ever going to be done.

We paid the bulk of the money well before we realized what a circus it was going to be to deal with this company. We learned a great lesson. We would never in a million years recommend KitchenFX to anyone we know. What a painful experience this has been.

We had this company do all the woodwork in our entire house. We saw their sign in our neighbor's window and went in to their showroom. We did look at a couple other places but found the owner of the company Don LeBlanc was very personable and knowledgeable. He was great to work with and found he went the extra step to make sure everything was done to his exceptional standards! We get so many compliments on our kitchen, bar, laundry room cabinets, and bathroom vanities. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

Neighbors suggested Kitchen Fx for our kitchen renovations. They highly recommmended this company & were thoroughly satisfied when Kitchen Fx did their renovations. Kitchenfx added extra touches & more effienct cabinets & spice racks.
