Elms Weeping Tile

Excellent company to work with from ownership to labour's. Would highly refer this company to anybody with foundation issues . This company is highly professional and they even show possible issues in the future

Great company!! We had a large water leak into our basement and they came out with 48 hrs, assessed and fixed the problem (which was a builder issue, not an issue with the weeping tile they installed). They were, quick, clean and thorough. They also provided me with a letter detailing the problems so I could recoup the cost through my home warranty (house was newly built).

Bought our house 5 years ago and Elms did the weeping tile (NEW CONSTRUCTION). Had 3 inches of water in the basement the first Spring. Have asked Elms to come out on 3 separate occasions, they say they are coming, but never show up. Our Local plumbing company finally tells us that there is no pipe into the sump pit from the weeping tile. Fairly important detail, you would think. My advice on new construction is to decline the Alberta New Home Warranty so that you can at least sue the builder and companies privately. ANHW is in place to protect the builders, not the buyers.

The company sent 18 year old apprentices, without equipment to get the job done. They made a huge mess in the house digging the sump pit, cut the barrel in half to install it, didn't attach the weeping tile to the sump properly etc. The result was my plumber had to come and redig the pit, remove the debris that they left inside and out, fix the weeping tile connection they were suposed to do, replace the sump pit that they destroyed by cutting in half and basically redo the inside job they were supposed to do. In the end I refused to pay and deducted the cost of my plumber from the initial quote. His excuse was that they usually only do new construction weeping tile installs and he was doing me a favour - I say if you don't have the skill don't take on the job Jackass - you aren't doing me a favour by doing crap work!!
