Clearview Home & Property Inspections

I found Tom through Homestars but he was also on the list of home inspectors that my real estate agent gave to me, and she only gave me names of people she's worked with and trusts.
Tom did a wonderful job, from the first moment I called to arrange the service, through the inspection and report, to giving me additional information and talking with me after the report was delivered. He is patient and knowledgeable, and does not condescend or talk down to you if you don't know what he's talking about, whether it's part of the process (which was all new to me) or parts of the home (which are not).

The inspection service itself was VERY thorough. There were known issues with the property, which I made sure Tom was aware of so that he could pay special attention to them (should we buy or not buy) and of course, he also noted and commented on the level of severity of everything he found, including all the things I didn't yet know about.
I was particularly pleased that after each floor was inspected, he took me through it and talked about everything, good, bad, ok, whatever. I felt totally confident that I understood what we were getting into, what we would have to do to remedy the situation, and that I could explain the inspection and the report in detail to anyone else who would ask.
