Home Renovation

Neil is a diligent, client-focused, and fairly priced certified electrician. I would highly recommend him for your residential electrical needs. Prior to commencing our renovation project, I engaged 4 electrical companies (including Nu-Phase) to evaluate and bid on the work, which consisted of an electrical assessment of our home (i.e. ensure existing wiring was safe and to code); installation of 31 pot lights and a tv outlet; installation of junction boxes; and removal of an old baseboard electric heater.

Neil was very flexible/accommodating and worked in partnership with me in respect of the work scope, budget, and timeline. Further, Neil was very transparent and fair in terms of his dealings, explanations, and contract (i.e. no hidden costs or surprises). He explained the process and timeline, and answered any questions I had – whether it was before, during, or after the work was completed. To ensure everything was documented and captured, all verbally agreed matters were documented and included in the contract prior to any work commencing. He stands by the quality of his work and affords a guarantee on workmanship (i.e. should any issue arise with respect to the work he performed, he will fix it at no additional cost), which speaks volumes. Finally, to further demonstrate his commitment to service, he recommended and installed hardwired carbon monoxide and smoke detectors free of charge (clarification: I purchased the units and he installed them).

Overall, Neil provided quality service and completed the scope of work on time and on budget. I’m a very happy client. Solid work from a great guy.
