Nu Phase Electric Ltd

This was my first electrician service that I've required, and in summary it was a good experience. I needed a new circuit to satisfy the electrical requirements of my water heater. This was to a straigt forward new breaker, with a surface mounted armored cabling to be installed from the panel to the where the water heater is located. This initial contact occurred a few days prior to new years eve 2016.

I googled Nuphase and found it on google maps fairly easily. I read some reviews first and then I decided to text the phone number first. After texting, Neil (the owner) texted me as he was in a meeting and he told me to that he'll get back to me after his meeting.

2 hours later, he texted me and ask a few questions...I responded also offered to email him pictures of the scenario and location etc.

I emailed the items to him, and in the evening, he provided me (via text) a quote for the services and availability. I texted him on the tuesday and he was able to fit me on the friday (3 days later).

Neil provided a contract which I reviewed. I asked for a few edits and Neil obliged. We were able to finalize the contract the day before the service call which worked perfectly.

On the day of the service call, Neil arrived a few minutes after the agreed time, which was totally reasonable. He seemed personable and fairly soon, began working on the project. At the same time, I was removing and replacing the water heater, in order to time it so that Neil could hook up the electrical by the time he was done installing the circuit.

Ultimately, Neil successfully installed the new circuit within the estimated timeframe and also as I desired (in terms of placement etc). He also was very helpful when it came time that I needed 'a hand' to move the old water heater as well as installing the 'new water heater'.

Upon completion, he didn't rush me for payment and said 'whenever i get to it'..in terms of completion of the funds transfer (to close the contract).

Ultimately, it was a pleasant experience doing business with Neil. I also give him high marks for fixing a problem that surfaced after he left. Neil made a minor boo boo that resulted in me not having hot water. I texted him to ask if I should be getting hot water and he immediately identified the problem. As a result, he came back a few hours later (mind you, he was on his way to a family party....but he made the effort to be in contact after I contacted him and prior to his return to my residence)......to remedy the situation. Very soon afterwards, my hot water was running smoothly.

Neil was personable, on time and got the job done, within estimates. I would seek his services again in the future with no hesitation.
