Neil was professional, personable and efficient to trouble shoot no power to an exterior light fixture. We also had a few other electrical repairs for Neil such as a GFCI receptacle replacement in a bathroom. As a Master Electrician, he is a wealth of information and answered all my questions. We are leasing our home and had (with the owner's permission) originally called Neil in 2014 to install an outlet in our bathroom. While here he also installed a ceiling light in the nursery. The approximate price I have listed is regarding that visit.

We contacted Neil again in 2016/2017 to assess and replace a couple of outlets that were starting to melt. Upon checking our home he suggested that the homeowners replace all outlets to upgrade the current aluminum wiring. We had the homeowner contact him directly and they gave him the go ahead up fix the wiring in each outlet. As we are leasing, we did not receive the invoice for that job however I know the owners were happy with the quoted rate.

Neil's service, prices and communication are outstanding. We will continue to contact him for any future electrical issues and highly recommend him to others!

My main electric baseboard heater stopped working during a cold snap so I needed help fast. Neil came over within a day and diagnosed the problem (broken thermostat.) He set it up so the heater continued to work and without a thermostat and gave me some good advice on which one to replace it with. He then helped me install the new thermostat over the phone a couple of days later. Overall Neil is a prompt and professional electrician, I've already recommended him to friends and would recommend him to anyone else as well!

This was my first electrician service that I've required, and in summary it was a good experience. I needed a new circuit to satisfy the electrical requirements of my water heater. This was to a straigt forward new breaker, with a surface mounted armored cabling to be installed from the panel to the where the water heater is located. This initial contact occurred a few days prior to new years eve 2016.

I googled Nuphase and found it on google maps fairly easily. I read some reviews first and then I decided to text the phone number first. After texting, Neil (the owner) texted me as he was in a meeting and he told me to that he'll get back to me after his meeting.

2 hours later, he texted me and ask a few questions...I responded also offered to email him pictures of the scenario and location etc.

I emailed the items to him, and in the evening, he provided me (via text) a quote for the services and availability. I texted him on the tuesday and he was able to fit me on the friday (3 days later).

Neil provided a contract which I reviewed. I asked for a few edits and Neil obliged. We were able to finalize the contract the day before the service call which worked perfectly.

On the day of the service call, Neil arrived a few minutes after the agreed time, which was totally reasonable. He seemed personable and fairly soon, began working on the project. At the same time, I was removing and replacing the water heater, in order to time it so that Neil could hook up the electrical by the time he was done installing the circuit.

Ultimately, Neil successfully installed the new circuit within the estimated timeframe and also as I desired (in terms of placement etc). He also was very helpful when it came time that I needed 'a hand' to move the old water heater as well as installing the 'new water heater'.

Upon completion, he didn't rush me for payment and said 'whenever i get to it'..in terms of completion of the funds transfer (to close the contract).

Ultimately, it was a pleasant experience doing business with Neil. I also give him high marks for fixing a problem that surfaced after he left. Neil made a minor boo boo that resulted in me not having hot water. I texted him to ask if I should be getting hot water and he immediately identified the problem. As a result, he came back a few hours later (mind you, he was on his way to a family party....but he made the effort to be in contact after I contacted him and prior to his return to my residence)......to remedy the situation. Very soon afterwards, my hot water was running smoothly.

Neil was personable, on time and got the job done, within estimates. I would seek his services again in the future with no hesitation.

Niel was just awe worthy.. im so glad to have found him.. we were having major power problems with our unit and he came over as a last minute gesture and fixed my inside breaker only to find out that the issues wasnt just on my end.. He then took on my strata and fought to get the breaker replaced in the electric room before christmas.. Niel you are one of the good guys left in a nasty world.. thanks and all the best

After having some problems with my home breaker circuit I contacted Nu Phase and found Neil. After posing my questions to him, rather than come to my home and charge a service fee, he kindly helped me over the phone and directed me in a systematic and polite way. We were able to resolve the issues over the phone and he continued to help me understand why I I had the problem I did in a knowledgeable and insightful manner. Any home service technician that helps you over the phone and resolves issues that you would otherwise have to pay for speaks to their honesty and work ethic. I was pleased to find Neil at Nu Phase and would highly recommend this organization to all and have now found my electrician for future. Appreciate it Neil!

Neil was recommended to me by a friend of mine who had great things to say about the work Neil had done on a renovation for him. I was very happy with the work done by Neil on my home as well. He came in on a day he usually takes off because my issue was an intermittent one and happened to be manifesting itself that day. Neil was so great to come out on a Saturday and was sick too. I had him reattach my meter mast and inspect the meter wires . And for him to have declaration for BC Hydro as per their requirements . I texted him a picture of what was needed and he brought the right parts and was very professional with his service and his and completed the job quickly . Friendly and very professional . Will call him again when more work is needed to be done . The cost was very reasonable and less than other quotes I received . Excellent service and great work ..... Thank you Neil !!!!

Neil initially came to do a thorough safety check (most of a day) for our four storey heritage home. He was very thorough in testing every electrical socket, outlet, circuit etc in the house. We then discussed the list of things that needed remediation which he had prioritised in terms of safety. His list was excellent.

I brought him back for a total of two more days to fix anything dangerous and to make some general electrical improvements around the house. This included running a particularly difficult four storey network cable run.

Overall, I was extremely impressed by his diligence and work ethic. He was honest about what needed doing, and what could wait.

He is definitely someone who I will have work on my house again in the future.
