We recently renovated our Bathroom & kitchen and Used Vatzek's services for the tile. Vatzek did an amazing job and we couldn't be happier with the results.
Vatzek was very professional and easy to work with. He took the time to make sure that everything we choose would work well together. Before we had meet with Vatzek, we had picked out some tile and it turns out we were short on material. Vatzek was quick to come up with a solution to be able to use the tile we had on hand and have the end result look fabulous, I couldn't be happier with how the bathroom shower and floors turned out. Vatzek is very detail oriented and took time & care in prepping the workspace & walls for the tile, this ensured that the tile looks amazing and the surrounding areas were kept clean and protected. He was always availiable when we called to ask questions while picking out tile and offer helpful advice. He provided lots of choice for the schluter & grout. Vatzek was very flexible with his schedule. When it is time to renovate our other bathroom and kitchen floor we will be calling Vatzek again. Vatzek was professional in all aspects of his work, and the workmanship was flawless. He was dependable, clear in communications, timely, very open and honest. Of all the contractors we've used over the years Vatzek stands out as the very best so far. Our bathroom renovation turned into bathroom renovations, all three bathrooms. We had chosen our tile and the design for the floors, bath surround and counter back splahes. After Deb and I meet with Vatzek, where he threw out some ideas and suggestions, we soon discarded our design and tile choice in favor of his recommendations, thankfully. Vatzek is not only a skilled craftsmen with great attention to detail and workmanship but he guided us through to the best tile choice and design for what we envisioned for our bathrooms and at less cost than any other contractor. On more than one occasion Vatzek ran into problems with warped walls or areas out of square. Instead of continuing along fudging and fitting he removed tiles, fixed the walls then re-tiled only when everything fit and lined up perfectly (and at no extra cost). Something we had never experienced with any other contractor. Vatzek also picked up all our tile from the supplier and since I fancy myself a bit of a handy guy he gave us options for saving money by doing some things ouselves (demolition and prep work for e.g.). We have one last thing we think we should do sometime in the future, replace a shower stall with a tiled shower, and Vatzek will definitely be the person we get to do it. He is not only a great tile contractor but a very nice guy, my wife says a real gentlemen, a pleasure to talk to.

We can't possibly say enough positive things about Vatzek (Waclaw) Zietara of Academy Tile. Not only is he an incredibly talented and conscientious craftsman, he is a wonderful human being. We genuinely miss having this special man around our home. He did such an amazing job, particularly when you consider how complicated and unusual all of our work has been. We absolutely love Academy Tile and would recommend Vatzek to everyone we know. Too bad the world isn't full of skilled, honest, hard-working contractors like him; if they were all like Academy, renovations might actually be a pleasant experience.
