This company was doing a number of jobs in the neighbourhood and decided to speak with Navy to get a quote and design. At the beginning, Navy spoke very well and seemed knowledgeable so we decided to go with him. The construction team he sent to do the job did not speak English and did not seem to know what we originally agreed with. We had to contact Navy a number of times in order to communicate with his team. The city bylaw ended showing up at our door because the design he proposed was not approved for permit. We ended up having to hire a second landscaper to complete the work as this company was incompetent. Please be aware.

I hire this company owner called Navy . I had them to do the interlock on my driveway, front porch and partial of the backyard. The interlock on the driveway started to sink in the first year and because of the poor design and the jobs quality on the backyard the water got into my basement's window when heavily rain.

One of my friends referred Navy to me as she had her backyard done in 2015 and she is very happy with his services.
So I hired Ocean Landscaping Design last year and had my backyard done also. I have to say thanks to them since my whole family all like it and enjoy it very much.
The owner Navy is very knowledgeable and knows what he does. I think he is a great designer and made a huge change for my backyard and it’s so beautiful now!

We had our front, backyard and interlock done by Ocean Landscaping Design and Build in 2016.

I met the owner Navy who is the designer also in the April of 2016 at my yard for an assessment. He told me an arrange of the cost based on what I want and what he thinks it is the best for us according the condition of my yard (27 years old) right after the meeting.

Two weeks later, Navy came back to me with his design and details of the cost. He explained me all the details including all the materials and the way to make it...etc. with a lot patients. I took about one week to discuss it with my family then we finally made the decision to hire them.

At the end, my yard becomes so beautiful and my Mom and Dad enjoyed so much during the whole Summer!

I recommend this company to everybody, I also want to recommend you to make sure they choose the right type of the fence that you want!

We had our front and backyard done this past May/June by Ocean Landscaping and was very disappointed. First of all we agreed on some things like putting in new grass (even in the contract) for the price but Navy didn't want to do it in the end saying that he only meant changing the grass in the backyard; the planting that he promised to do (we bought all the trees and plants)was done very poorly ( crooked line grass and boxwood, no top soil or mulch)our existing grass was damaged by the heavy equipment, gravel etc and we ended up paying him extra money to put in new grass and bring in some top soil and after another garden centre for more top soil and mulch to finish the job; plus paid extra someone else to plant some cedar trees he promised to come back to plant for us.
The stone work was done properly but the planting less than satisfactory and we had to work hard several wkds to fix and finish the job. Navy told us everything we wanted to hear at the beginning but when it came to the actual work he cut the corners and did whatever he wanted. We were happy with the price in the beginning but after adding all the extra costs we did not do any deals and had a lot of headache; I would not recommend the experience to anyone.

The owner is very knowledgeable about plants and landscaping. He does not just get job done, he also wants to make sure you are satisfied in the long term. I am very happy with the final result.
