We needed our entire basement replaced due to our water tank overflowing. This company did a great job, the price was fair and we were very happy with the results!!!

Woodpecker Flooring installed new oak hardwood floors throughout the upper floor of my home and also sanded and refinished the stairs. Woodpecker's price was competitive, and they did an excellent job. I'm very happy with the results.

Mirek was great at answering all my questions and communicating before and during the job. He obviously has a lot of experience with wood flooring, and I felt like I was in safe hands! He was punctual, tidy, and as quiet and considerate as it's possible to be while doing this type of work.

My house is 88 years old, and the upstairs still had the original wood floors covered by some shabby carpet. The subfloor wasn't in great shape (VERY squeaky!), but Mirek was able to make it solid and squeak-free.

The new floors look gorgeous, and my only regret is that I didn't get this reno done sooner.

I hired this company in April 2013 to install new hardwood on the main floor and second floor hallway, to sand and stain the existing main floor hallway and staircase as well to install iron pickets. The job was to begin June 3rd, 2013, he said it was a 10 day job. Dragos brought the spindles and the accessories for installation and I paid him the quoted $900.00. The end of May he brought unfinished wood and requested a deposit of $2000.00 which I gave him. The day the job was to start Dragos, called to say he had the chicken pox and wouldn't be able to start the job. two weeks went by he informed me he now had enterocolits another week went by he called to say his van broke down and needed a transmission, another week went by he shows up at my house July 3 2013 to begin the job, I was going on vacation that week returning on the Friday. The Thursday of that week my mother calls me while I am on the beach to say that now his father has died and he had to go to Romania right away. At first i thought wow talk about bad luck then logic set in, I called him and told him to send someone else from the company to finish the job he said there is only him. (his advertisment states there is a team of specialists) I came home to all my carpet and underpadding plus a huge garbage bag thrown all over the curb. My house is a disaster, half sanded stairs, he broke the wood on my bottom stair, all my shoe moulding tore up, someone elses old stained ruined railing put back up but not attached to the wall and NO spindles. He took the box of accessories that you need to hook up the spindles to the stairs and railing that I paid for.
I had a friend call him for a quote just to verify his story, his dad did not die he is taking on other jobs and promising completion this week.
DO NOT HIRE WOODPECKER FLOORING INC, or Dragos, he will ruin your home as he did mine.

We hired Woodpecker flooring to refinish our old oak hardwood floors thoughout the whole house. It turned out well and for the cost of refinishing vs. the cost of new hardwood floors it was excellent. We did have some issues with the finish, but Dragos was more than happy to correct it for us.
