Zinc roof
Shaun put on a zinc roof on my bay window. From afar, one can't see the flaws, but Shaun and company scratched a couple of the sections with their ladder. I am concerned about the long-term integrity of the pieces that have been scratched.
I complained about this situation to Shaun, and he has promised to fix the scratched pieces. Right now I am in a holding pattern.

I complained about this situation to Shaun, and he initially indicated that he would be back to take care of things. However, two weeks have passed, and he did not respond to my email of this week. I have paid him for the job already, so I don't have any leverage to get him to return. The job was more complicated that he initially thought (due to damage that was unseen until the old roof was removed), and getting the right material proved a challenge. I ended up having to pay almost $1,000 more than I was initially told.
The other aspect of this job that was very poor was Shaun's communication. Because this job was an after-hours gig for him (although he never told me that when he was bidding for it), he completed the work on weeks nights (sometimes as it was getting dark) and Sunday mornings. However, I often did not know what day he was coming nor what time, which was very stressful. I did not feel like a very important customer to him.
