Needed to get roof repaired after high winds took section of shingles off roof. Called Shaun and he answered the phone personally and immediately said he would be out to check it and repair it. He and Anj checked it out in the morning and by mid afternoon a crew had patched up the roof ... and did this for free!!!
An absolute pleasure to deal with someone who has so much integrity, professionalism and so much knowledge!! Soon as the nice weather comes we will be calling Shaun to put on the new roof. Recommend this company highly.

My 13x10 sunroom had a serious ice damming problem with ~8" of ice on the lip of the roof every winter. This led to leaks inside the room and damaged drywall. The roof was sagging from the plywood being completely rotted. I got three contractors to quote the roof. Having researched how to prevent root ice dams I was surprised that Shaun was the only one who even suggested that the correct solution was proper insulation and venting. The other guys just wanted to put a new roof on with some ice/water shield. I kept asking them about insulation and they said it wouldn't be necessary. Shaun broke down the cost of spray foaming and new skylights as separate items which allowed me to compare with other contractors. He was quickly available to quote, punctual and sent me pictures of the work as it progressed. The venting, new skylights and roof look great. I would definitely recommend Shaun and Urban Roofing to friends and family.

After having a bad experience with Sears Roofing, I did a lot of research on shingles and roofing companies before I decided on one. Shawn Stratford from Urban Roofing was professional, well informed and assured me that I would be happy at the end with materials, work and after sales service. He did not require a deposit up front and was on time and completed a 3400 Sq. Ft house in 2 days. Job well done and cleaned up very nicely. Was not the most expensive but was the most committed in terms of follow up with his crew and my satisfaction with my new roof. I would highly recommend them for any roofing job !

I received 3 quotes to redo my roof, all of them from top rated companies on Home Stars. I chose Urban Roofing because they gave me an innovative and up to date alternative. Shaun, the owner, recognized immediately that my roof's ventilation was inadequate. (my home is 45+ years old) While addressing this issue, his quote was still right in line with the others. Shaun was so easy to deal with, answering my many questions. The work was done promptly, within a couple weeks of contacting him and my roof looks great!

My husband and I came across some water damage at a dormer window in our finished attic. After some brief online research, we came across some fantastic reviews for Urban Roofing and decided to give them a try. Shaun Stratford (President) replied to my email within a day, and offered to come out and take a look the next day. After inspection, Shaun informed me of our roofing situation at the dormer window and was completely upfront about costs associated with fixing it. He explained exactly where the problem was, and furthermore provided pictures to show me the extent of the damage. Shaun and his crew came back a few days later to fix the problem. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of this interaction. Not only was Urban Roofing able to quickly fix my problem, but they took it one step further and kept me informed of everything and even gave me suggestions on how to improve the longevity of my roof. On a separate note, I found that Shaun and his colleagues were completely professional, and treated me with utmost respect. They were personable and cleaned up after themselves. Having had other trades professionals in my home for various tasks, I would say that Urban Roofing went above and beyond my expectations.

I had a leak due to an icing problem. Three different companies had a look, including the company that installed my roof, and could not find any problems and did not offer any viable solutions. I then called Shaun Stratford at Urban Roofing (who was recommended by a fellow colleague), he provided a detailed explanation once he assessed the conditions of the leak. He was very thorough and showed professionalism in all aspects of his expertise. He is very knowledgable and is straight to the point of what needs to be done, whether the solution is good or bad. I was prepared to redo my roof with his company for piece of mind, but he was able to solve the problem without the cost of a new roof. A few days later, his installers/crew came and were very efficient, clean and respectful. They provided excellent workmanship in a timely manner and they even shovelled my driveway. Although your company did not work on the original installation, you treated the job as if you did. Daiva and I will recommend your company to family and friends in need of any roofing needs. Urban roofing had no troubles with my complex re-roof at my rental property. I had 2 chimney's that were in disrepair, dormers that were falling apart, and a roof that needed to be replaced. Urban roofing had no problem taking care of all our issues and doing a quick, quality job on the roof. They were also able to get me in touch with a quality HVAC specialist to take care of some of our other issues. Owner is very personable, easy to talk to about your concerns and very understanding of the issues. Would recommend!

We had recently had a new roof installed by another local company, and we had noticed certain items had not been installed. We decided to have our roof inspected and Shaun from Urban Roofing had agreed to inspect our roof. Shaun was extremely professional and very informative and provided us with a detailed roof inspection report.
