Sensational Roofing & Repairs

I had leaking in basement one evening. Called the next morning and they sent Brad right away. He was really great and looked at the roof and attic and patiently assessed the situation. He told me to call again when it was raining and someone would come back to look at the attic to confirm. I did so and he was back and was honest in saying that the issue was not the roof. And offered constructive options for the fix, not roof-related.

I had a leak from a storm earlier this week and called several roofing companies. Most did not return my call. One did come out and give me a quote without even going up on the roof. He said they would do the repairs only if I signed a roofing contract. I then called Sensational Roofing and Ronald responded immediately. He knew that it was supposed to rain tomorrow so he showed up a few hours later, fixed my roof and spent a great deal of time talking to me about the condition of my roof, shingles, etc. I am so pleased that I chose Sensational Roofing and will definitely use them again.

Ronald assessed the situation in a timely manner and made the necessary repair. The issue with water coming in through my ceiling was taken care within the hour.

Ronald came to check my roof as I had a leak in one of our bedrooms. I thought I probably needed to replace the shingles, but after going on the roof to inspect it, he showed me a picture of what he thought was the problem and he solved it with a simple caulking job! He could easily have told me I needed to have the whole roof re-shingled. We have had a lot of rain since he was here and have had no leak. I would highly recommend Sensational roofing.

Our roof had been leaking near the valley into our son's room whenever there was a heavy rainfall. Light rain never brought on any issues so that, coupled with the fact that our son's room was directly underneath the valley, lead us to the conclusion that the issue must have been a large tear on either side of the valley.

We contacted Sensational through HomeStars and within minutes received a reply from Tara with a scheduled appointment for the very next morning. Needless to say I was both stunned and impressed by their prompt reply and subsequent action.

The next morning, Ronald showed up at my door on time and ready to work. He then listened to my version of the issue, climbed the roof and examined the problem. His explanation of incorrectly cut shingles along the valley made infinitely more sense than my earlier assumption when I considered the other solutions that had been tried and had eventually failed (e.g. caulking only). I also appreciated the fact that he didn't try and push the idea of getting a new roof on me. In fact he said other than that issue, we probably had another couple of years left.

Their price was also quite reasonable.

We were so happy with the service that we're considering using them to replace our entire roof in a couple of years by the way. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. Honest, courteous and professional service is what you'll get if you do.

One of our old roof vent/turbines literally snapped in half during a strong wind. Sensational lived up to their name. They were there within a day and fixed everything quickly and at a reasonable cost. highly recommended.

After calling few places between Oct to Nov 2014 I came across Sensational Roofing I just send a photo of the roof area to Ronald within few minutes he called me with the quote. No body was willing to do the job b'cos it was considered a small job and specially b'cos of the wind storm they were backlogged.The quote was very reasonable and while I was at work Ronald and his team had already completed the job. I have to say the roof is so neatly done and there was no mess no short cuts or anything left behind in the premises. I will definitely call them back to do my main roof and I will refer Ronald specially b'cos of his honesty. and his services to my friends and family. We knew Ronald would be the right choice from the moment he came to give us a quote. Unlike the other companies that just left quotes in our mailbox, Ronald sat down to explain his quote and answer our questions. He came out in the middle of winter to check the roof and found that there was an area that would likely cause leakage with the winter thaw. He offered to patch it on the spot. Nobody else we got quotes from even noticed the spot.

Ronald and his team came promptly they were clean, courteous and quick. They did a professional and beautiful job. We have a semi-detached and inquired with Ronald about a shingle in the area adjoining our house to our neighbours and he came back immediately to ensure everything was ok...which it was!
