John did an amazing job painting our place before move in! He came, provided a reasonable estimate, and did the job in the time quoted. Super thrilled with the results and highly recommend John!

John and his team (I believe Matthew one of the team) painted a couple of rooms in Forest Hill late summer and could not be happier with the results. Not only was the project executed with great skill and attention to detail (re: crown molding, 10' ceilings, 12" baseboards throughout), but John's expertise and knowledge helping with recommendations regarding paint undertones, et al, relative to sun and shade is astonishing. Who knew white could be SO complex. FYI, varying finishes of BM Oxford white resulted in a perfect background for our art collection in a sometimes dim area. I'd be remiss to not further add that John and the team are truly considerate, polite, and great conversationalists! I enthusiastically recommend John and Inside Job Painting Co.

John is fantastic - absolutely first rate. He is a master at color selection and his taste is impeccable. He goes above and beyond , so much more than just painting! John is everything you could want in a handyman. He is thorough, efficient, skilled in a wide variety of areas and cleans up when he's finished. He is an excellent communicator and shows up when he says he will and does what he says he will do. As our regular handyman, he hits the sweet spot of knowing when to take initiative and when to check in.

We have been through enough handymen to know gold when we have it, and John's pure gold.

John was a godsend. He was thorough, efficient, responsive, collaborative about colour choice and professional in every way. We have only good things to say about his work. He came at short notice and worked extra hours to prepare our house for selling.

John has done a number of jobs for me at my home over the last few months. What I love about John and his work is - no job is too small; when a job is too big or beyond his scope, he says so, he always does excellent quality work; he's punctual and efficient; he gives his honest opinion; his cleanup is immaculate - you'd never know that he was there; and he's personable and fun to work with to boot! I'd recommend John to anyone.

The people we bought our house from renovated the basement such that the stairwell is too narrow to accommodate the smallest of appliances. After our washing machine stopped working, the only way to remove the old machine and bring in the new machine was to remove the stairwell wall. John was referred to us, so after meeting him and being given a quote we were more than happy with, we didn't even bother seeking out estimates from other companies. We can't rave enough about John's work. We decided to go away the weekend the work was being done. When we returned, it was like John had never even been there, other than the fact that the old washer was gone, and the new washer was installed and ready to use! The new wall looks fabulous and John even managed to match the paint so that you would never even know the basement walls were not all painted at the same time. I would not hesitate to recommend John for any painting job or other project he is capable of doing. Thanks, John!

John Pierson of Inside Job helped me get all set up in my new place. He replaced fixtures, installed an air-conditioner, put up shelves and blinds, painted, put up ceiling fans and did all the stuff that needed doing.

I found John to be personable, patient and professional. I had lots of decisions to make about how I wanted to set things up. He was flexible about changes and offered some excellent suggestions. The person who recommended him to me said he was 'a good communicator' - absolutely. A really nice person to work with, and I'm very happy with the results. And his price was very reasonable.
