Another review I saw said it pretty well. Stephen is the kind of inspector you want when you BUY a house, not when you're selling haha. Stephen is INCREDIBLY thorough and he told us at the beginning of our meeting that he would point out "everything, no matter if it would cost $5 or $50K" and that he did. During the inspection, Stephen explained everything that he was checking and was very open about what issues would constitute the need for immediate repair or if it was something we could work on at a later date. Stephen was professional, direct and extremely knowledgeable. If you want your inspection done cheap, go with someone else. If you want your inspection done well, Stephen is your guy. We left our appointment feeling safe, secure and with extended knowledge of what and when to fix each issue with our new home. Stephen sent us our detailed, nearly 500 page home inspection document within 24 hours and it was incredible to have this level of detail. We ended up printing out this document and highlighting and placing tabs throughout so we can begin to organize our necessary renovations. Stephen isn't in the business of making people happy, so if you expect him to sugar-coat things, you will need to amend your expectations. If there is an issue, Stephen will tell you exactly what it is, how it can be fixed and what would happen if it is not addressed. My wife and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend anyone buying a home to go through Stephen for this service.

As a first time home buyer, the inspection seemed like a scary item on the checklist. Stephen talked me through the whole process, took pictures of everything and a full report to me within hours. He took the time to look at absolutely everything, even in the tight spaces, and explained what he was doing, what he was looking for, and if he saw any concerns. Would Definitely recommend!

Stephen was very thorough during his inspection and took his time answering all of my questions. He is very knowledgeable and found many little issues with the home that will need fixing or adjustments. His report was very detailed and he had sent it the same day!

Stephen had offered me the option of doing a sewage scan of the main drain line at 50% off since I was getting an inspection. At first i hummed and hawed about it since it's a relatively new house and it was an extra ~200$ on top of the ~500$ inspection, but decided to go with it since I figured I might as well have all my bases covered. Turns out there was a 90% blockage! It was a great call and I am very happy to have had it done.
