After going with this security company for more than 8 years I moved and I was still obligated to pay for the security system in the old house when I did not even live in the city. I had to go on disability for a high risk pregnancy and could not pay for this service in a city I did not even live in for only one month because I had to wait for the disability forms/cheques etc. After only one month of non-payment in 8 years they threatened to put a lien on my old house and ruin my credit. This is complete overkill for being a good customer for 8 years, not living in that city anymore and a situation I could not control.
