Waterproofing is never really an issue that one wants to tackle but I can't say enough about how impressed I was with Stephan and his crew and the peace of mind I have knowing that my job was done thoroughly and properly. I was 100% confident in the recommendations of Stephan to install an interior weeping tile system in my basement and put vapour barriers along the exterior walls and very impressed with the professionalism of both Stephan and crew in getting the job done quickly and cleanly. Stepehen came around to my newly purchased house today. After having a number of basement specialist companies coming to see the house it seems that Stephen was the only one to spot the real problem, water entering through a specific place in the exterior of the house- the tion? Call a mason and get the hole covered. It was totally altruistic of him as he left without recommending his own services.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stephen Ksiasek and the Waterproofer.ca. The task of finding knowledgeable and professional people to entrust with such a big job appeared to be a challenge. However, when Stephen showed up with his monitors and cameras to document moisture in my walls, I felt that his technology and his knowledge stood out from the rest.

Once the work began on my property, through no fault of the workers, as they dug, they found multiple other issues with my house. Stephen kept me updated and worked with me to help make the best decisions about how to proceed, always keeping in mind that costs were a huge factor for me.

Additionally, when there were some concerns from the neighbours, as can happen with huge projects and houses in close proximity, Stephen came out at 9 pm one night to hear the concerns and address them as a way to support the process and provide support to me so that I would not have to address the concerns on my own.

Now, even weeks after the job is completed, Stephen is assisting me in finding a person to repair the damaged exterior concrete and providing me with his expertise on other issues that tie to the work and improvements with my house.

Stephen would be my number one recommendation for any one needing water proofing by an experienced qualified tradesperson. He satisfied every aspect a contractor should by arriving to provide site inspection, evaluation and a quote promptly. Every aspect and timeline we discussed were met and his workmanship was excellent. His concern to coordinate his schedule when possible to other tradespeople was very appreciated. This is the second water proofing company that I have used and I wish he was the first and I am confident he will be the last.

TheWaterProofer.ca is the absolute best - I can't recommend them more highly.

We bought an old house that we knew had a wet basement, but when we found out the scale of the problem, we were overwhelmed. The entire basement was leaking and mouldy, and what we thought was a small bit of removal in the back yard turned out to be several tons of (non-structural) concrete that had been put in to cheaply reinforce the foundation - and now it was leaking and needed to be removed.

We were convinced that all of the extra work would cost us tens of thousands of dollars. But Stephen and his team explained what was happening and organized everything - the removal of several TONS of concrete, the proper repair and reinforcement of our foundation, and the full waterproofing of our basement.

Even with all the extra work, TheWaterproofer.ca still came in on budget. They also showed up on time every day and finished the project right on time - something that's sadly so rare with most contractors, but was gospel with TheWaterProofer.ca team.

We'd hire TheWaterProofer.ca again in a heartbeat.
