Aquatech Basement Waterproofing

Sean, Igor and their team are real pros. They did interior waterproofing and installed two sump pumps for me. They also solutioned water disposal which, given the quantity of water and location of the sump pit, was not obvious. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would so it, and for the amount they quoted. They also patiently explained what they were doing and didnt make me feel stupid on a subject I knew little to nothing about (which I was, but am less so now because of their patience and good nature). Very happy to have had the opportunity to work with them.

We had an assessment done the day after contacting Aquatech. Vlad came out; he was knowledgeable and helpful, addressing our problem and definitely not trying to oversell which we appreciated. Vlad suggested waterproofing a 6 foot section of the foundation but we expanded it to 10 feet. There was moisture and water pooling in a corner of our basement. Someone came out to check the utilities in a week's time. Soon after, the Aquatech crew did the job. The crew was careful and efficient; we were impressed with their work and their thoroughness--we had been given the steps to expect with photos. We saw a large crack in the foundation that was likely the main problem and it was reassuring to see it thoroughly repaired. Vlad came back the next day and suggested some extra grading at the site which involves applying extra soil and sloping it away from the foundation--this was part of the contract if needed. Aquatech is an extremely efficient company.
We were very happy with the speed and efficiency of the whole process and are now considering having Aquatech do a backwater valve installation for us.

The 2 men who did the work were excellent and obviously very skilled in their work. They left our premises looking neat and tidy. They were no bother to us and we had no problems at all with them while they were here.

My insurance company had sent a letter stating that they planned to cancel my home insurance within 2 weeks (after 25 years in good standing) because of a relatively minor water leak during an extreme rain event, even though they would not cover the damage done, they said I had to do the repair to maintain insurance. I called Aquatech.

Richard from Aquatech showed up later that day and assessed the situation and provided 3 paths to solving the problem. I elected for the interior waterproofing and they came 2 days later and executed the work in a single day.

Eugene, and Volodymyr and his team were great --the came early around 7:30 --and worked hard till about 8pm that night to finish all in one day, job looks great so far and I'm happy overall with the service. The company helped me figure out the Sump pump rebate as well--so I will get some money back from the city.

Very happy with my experience with Aquatech. Shawn was great to deal with from the start and throughout the entire process. He said it would be a 2 day job and it was a less than that. It's a dirty messy job but the workers did their best to keep dust in the basement by masking doorways. This was a necessary job for my wet basement and I would recommend them to anyone who asks.
