The Handyman Frank No Longer In Business

I had put a nice size hole in my drywall and at the same time broke my light switch and the wires inside.

Frank was very fast and responding to my original request and within 4 days we had an appointment set. He was even 15 minutes early which was great because I had to go to work.

My Girlfriend was home while he did the repair and she thought Frank was the nicest guy in the world. I'm from a small town originally and he reminded me of the type of contract workers I knew from there. Very polite, doesn't try to screw you on the price, does the work , cleans up and says thank you for the business.

If you want someone that you can trust I would recommend Frank's work to anyone.

After I had a recent skylight put in (along with a full roof) I hired Frank to install a part that was mistakenly left off as part of the installation.
Frank made it very easy and the work was completed even when I was at work, so I didn't have to stay home!

We hired Frank a few weeks ago to repair some water damage around our patio door, and also to see about waterproofing the door. Frank got everything done in a couple of hours. He was friendly and cheerful the whole time, and is the only contractor we've ever had in our home who was able to pet our crazy dog. :) We also found his rates very reasonable.

It's rained a few times since then and we're very happy to note that we haven't had any problems with water coming in. We are very happy with Frank's work and would definitely hire him again for other projects.

I have used Frank twice for a mix of tasks from installing a doorbell, to repairing a Vacuflow system, to installing high to reach lightbulbs, removing broken lightbulbs in the socket.
He is efficient, responsive, knows how to solve any problem - none to big or small. He cleans up if he makes a mess, is really patient, and pleasant with everyone from the kids, to the dog to the nanny!

I hired Frank to do a number of minor fixes in my condo ... he was fast and efficient and I was very pleased with the work. He fixed a potlight and handle in the kitchen, installed a new carbon monoxide alarm, fixed a stuck stopper in the bathroom sink (he even had the needed part in his toolbox), hung a 3-panel upholstered headboard, fixed the centre sliding panel in a closet plus some other minor fixes.
Frank's also very easy to work with; I may have another project in the future and I will be calling Frank.

Frank is the best – hands down. He is organized, neat and works with great skill and care. All done at reasonable prices.

Frank skilfully removed our old kitchen counter top, bathroom toilets, and basement portable shower system and installed high quality new ones (he provided us valuable feedback on what would work best in each case) and they all look and work great.

He also completed kitchen cabinet paint touch up work, bathroom caulking work, electrical cord alignment...Frank can do it all!

We look forward to calling on Frank again for future projects.

Frank has been my handyman now for over a year. I gather a list of tasks that need to be completed and he comes over with a great can-do attitude. My wife is home with our baby right now and he was able to work around their schedule and didn't disrupt them in any way. He does a good job and will suggest things that could be done to make it better than I had thought about myself. Without a doubt, if you are busy and don't have time or skill to fix things around the house yourself, call Frank. You won't be disappointed.

Very professional installation of the storm door. Careful and detailed work in all respects. Frank also fixed some dry wall cracks on some inside walls, and did some caulking. In addition to his all-round great skills, he is very respectful of your house and your possessions. He treats the house as if it were his own, and he truly cares to get the job done right. He will take the time to explain why he is doing something, and what the options are. Also, he is very honest about everything. I would trust him with any job around the house, even if I wasn't there. I particularly liked that he was not boastful and was soft-spoken. It showed me that his primary focus was doing the job in the right and most careful way imaginable.

We have hired Frank to do painting, fix doors, and all sorts of small jobs. He works hard, does good quallity work, is punctual, and cleans up after himself. He is also a nice guy! I highly recommend Handyman Frank.

Frank is such a pleasure to deal with. He was very friendly during our first phone call, and provided an email address for us to detail out the handyman jobs we wanted done. Frank booked us in the first slot he had available, and showed up on time. We do not wear shoes in the house (small child, cleanliness, etc) and advised Frank of that ahead of time. He wore booties over his shoes which was appreciated. The things on our list were: (1) Install new Moen bathroom faucet, (2) Fix storm door joint (3) Regrout a few shower tiles (we had already removed the old grout), (4) Repaint outside window sill, (5) Tighten some cabinets, (6) Install new light switch panel, (7) Install another smoke alarm, (8) Install toilet paper holder. He tackled that entire list with gusto, and was heard whistling throughout the job. We can say first hand Frank stands by his guarantee. We are both professionals, so finding a good and reliable handyman is great. We already plan to call on Frank in the future.
