Zaza contracting did a wonderful job on our basement renovation and turned it into a rental property. Ron and Fred did fantastic work and were extremely professional throughout the entire process. I didnt have to worry about a thing during this renovation which I appreciated. They completely renovated our basement and added a kitchen, washer, dryer, bathroom and two bedrooms. After consulting with a couple of contractors, I recently had the pleasure of having my basement updated by Zaza Contractors--new flooring, new lighting, painting, and a few other minor improvements. The basement was tired and worn out! I couldn't be more pleased with the result. I particularly appreciated the good suggestions that I received, and the fact that there was no attempt to "upsell"--just good advice, great service and a very fair price. From my first meeting with business owner Fred, I felt that my project would be in good hands. That was further reinforced after meeting David, the site supervisor, and ultimately by the arrival of the guys who did the majority of the work, namely, Cristiano
and David, and electricians, Chris and Juan. Everyone who came to my home was pleasant, polite, reliable, professional and most importantly, very skilled. The work was completed more quickly than originally estimated and was done thoroughly and well and on budget. When Zaza signage appeared on my street again, I remembered my next door neighbour had contracted the company to put in a basement bathroom. Zaza's quote was moderately priced, but we knew we had to able to work with a company that placed an emphasis on customer service since we needed their cooperation to complete our NRCAN Greener Homes Grant rebate application. Zaza delivered. Our 2F siding and exterior siding was completed in two weeks and the few delays we experienced were communicated to us. The Govt application was onerous because an energy advisor had to conduct the energy audits required, but Zaza's admin were patient and professional and completed specific requests for information from Zaza's subcontractors. The work of the subcontractors impressed the neighbours, so not only does the house look better, but it's also less of an energy hog. We are pleased to recommend Zaza to quote on various home renovations because of the quality work they do - the proof is in the pudding; a little before and after in one shot;)

We hired Zaza Contractors to assess some interior water damage, the cause, and correct steps to properly address the situation. Fred provided exceptional customer service, walking me through the concerns and possible causes. Afterward, we agreed to a fair and reasonable, professional quote for the work. The tuck pointing was completed in a timely manner, with little disruption. The mess was entirely removed and the area cleaned. Exceptional final results thanks to Adam, Brian, Fred and the entire Zaza team.

Very happy without our experience with Zaza. When we were searching for contractors to do our front walkway and steps, we definitely felt as if the job was so small that most contractors didn't even want to bother. Fred was the only one who showed up to the house to evaluate and provide a quote (Everybody else wanted emailed photos). His crew showed up at 7 a.m. on the dot each morning and the job was done on time and we couldn't be happier.

Just had Zaza replace our old and crumbling chimney this fall. We have used Zaza and his team two other times in the past and I can't say enough about how great they are. Zaza promptly answered our call about needing the chimney of our house repaired or replaced. Turns out we needed it replaced, Zaza presented us with a quote that was reasonable and we signed the contract. Zaza's team showed up on the day that was scheduled and they quickly and efficiently took down the old chimney and replaced it with a new chimney. The team that installed the new chimney were friendly and competent, they did a wonderful job. Zaza has honestly become our go to contractor for all the home renovation jobs that we need done.

I cannot say enough good about the work done by Fred and Guido in the basement of my very small 1929 home. It was gutted and completely renovated to make a bright, cheerful, welcoming space. It makes me happy every day. The challenges of making the most of my two small downstairs rooms into a guest room and laundry/storage/washroom/furnace room were met with professional expertise and problem solving skills extraordinaire. The work was completed in a timely manner and any questions or concerns I had were addressed with respect, good humour and obvious care for the job. Renovating is always stressful but being able to entrust the work to Fred and Guido was a gift. I am so thankful to them for looking after me and my home! I can heartily recommend Fred and his team. Guido was the best!
