The Mold Guy, Mold Detection & Removal

We discovered mould in our attic and needed it removed ASAP. This company was very responsive and were able to send a team out almost immediately. Very professional and great to deal with. The technicians also provided some advice with respect to the bathroom fan vent that was contributing to our issues. Would highly recommend dealing with this company.

I first spoke with Kay on the phone and she gave me a lot of very good information. I called her back and arranged for a site visit to my home. Drov arrived a few minutes earlier than expected which I greatly appreciated as I had to get back to work as soon as possible. He inquired about the history of the home and identified the places where mold was present. The moisture readings he took indicated the walls were dry, and the visible mold was at the surface only. He took readings and inspected both upstairs and downstairs and provided me with suggestions on how to clean the areas.
I followed his suggestions on the weekend and was very happy with the results.
All in all I was quite pleased with the service from The Mold Guy, and would happily refer anyone to your company.

There is some kind of leak in my house which seems to have no origin. In my living room, there is a wet spot on the floor that seems to have begun on Friday and it is soaking towels that we lay there. On Friday evening it seemed like someone had just spilled a bottle of water or something. Then I call mold guy to come to my house.

Although some common mold was found, our technician went above and beyond to help us understand what else could be causing a smell and how to prevent further mold buildup in the future. He could have easily up sold us on more services and didn't. He was honest and helpful with his recommendations. Would definitely recommend them.

Called to have mold removed from the attic of our new home. The initial call was very clear and informative and an accurate quote was given upfront. The guys arrived on time. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves as if they were never there. All the mold was removed within 3 hours. I called the office the morning of January 2, 2018. I had a mold issue in the attic and my property up for sale. I spoke with Kay who answered all my questions. We had The mold guy come into our workplace to do air quality tests for mold . It is an old 4 story building in downtown Toronto.
They were super helpful , right from the beginning, and returned my messages and e-mails promptly!!
The staff in the office were very kind and were very helpful and made the whole process much easier than I thought.
The actual testing was quick, and the technician was really nice, and was more than happy to answer all of my questions.
We got the results back in about three days, and pleased to say we were mold free!!
