Mike Shurben performed his services promptly and did an excellent job. I have used other contractors previously for other services and found that their work and attendance were less than satisfactory but was pleased that Mike did not cause me any frustrations. He is very knowledgeable and I found his rates very reasonable. I do not hesitate to recommend Mike to my friends and family and now others that find this site through a web search. You will not be disappointed with Mike's work and pricing.

Mike provided excellent customer service. He came to our home to provide a quote and then came back on a Sunday to complete the work because it was the only day we were available. He stayed true to his quote. He went above and beyond by pointing out deficiencies in our new house and training us on the use and maintenance of our new stove. He also helped out with other issues we were having in the home. He was polite, helpful and very professional. We have no hesitation highly recommending him.

Mike did a fansatic job!. He was curteous and professional. He made adjustments from the original palns without any complaints and even cleaned-up after he finished the job. I would definately use his services again

Mike installed the gas lines to hook up my appliances. He was very knowledgeable of all the technical aspects of the job and very attentive to doing the job 'right'. He also discovered a missing 'ground' on an item previously installed by another contractor and resolved it at no charge to me. Mike was very well organized in his schedule and was able to schedule my job in a timely manner and showed up on time, exactly when he promised. Also, in one instance, I ended up with 5 contractors on site at the same time, in the same room, and everything went smoothly! Mike had originally be recommended to me by a coworker. I highly recommend Mike!

Mr. Shurben installed a BBQ gas line for me this past summer. I was totally impressed with the services rendered. Normally, I do not write reviews but I made an exception this time because of my experience. Mr. Shurben gave exceptional customer service and competitive pricing. Following the discovery that the gas range that I'd inherited with the purchase of my house was leaking, I decided to replace it with an induction range and therefore needed to get the gas line tapped. I'd only very recently moved to Ottawa & couldn't find anyone that was personally recommend to do the job, so put my faith in google & went with Mike Shurben after reading multiple rave reviews about his work. Well, I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed - Mike was extremely helpful & got the job done easily & efficiently - would definitely recommend!

Mike came to our home within just a few hours of our first telephone conversation, and a few hours after that, our gas range was in place and working perfectly. After a bad experience with a previous company, Mike was a breath of fresh air: an honest contractor, pointing out other areas of immediate and future concern in our home in his area of expertise, with the safety of our family in mind. It's hard to find someone who takes the time to clean up after their work, takes care to dispose of wrapping from the stove that posed a suffocation risk to our two young girls, and finishes installing a stove/oven right down to the anti-tipping device and grates covering the burners. Mike did everything we hoped for, and more.
