My garage door arm had broken off due to the cold freezing the door to the ground. Wayne came and provided a longterm solution to a otherwise poorly designed garage door. He also helped identify my core problem and gave me suggestions on how to tackle it.

The rubber beneath the garage door was chewed off by a rat. We were able to solve the rat problem after 3 weeks. I was looking for someone from a reputable door company who can advise me what steps should be taken to keep the rats away from entering. It was also time to change our garage opener because it was not opening all the way. We were even thinking of changing my garage door. I phone around a few places but decided to go with J Mac Doors even though cost a bit more. Jim came by and said there was no need to change the door. I left several messages for them on the phone to get back to me, but they did not do so right away. Was able to reach
them through email and set the time and date for the installation.
We were very happy with the work Jim and his crew did. They are truly the door experts. I would highly recommend them.

I was in the market for a new garage door and garage door opener and I ended up getting quotes and interviewing 6 companies. It was incredibly easy for me to decide to use J Mac Doors.

From the time I first contacted Jennifer, she was very very helpful and I appreciated that she wanted to my business (other companies don't make you feel this way). Jennifer responded to my questions quickly and was the only one out of all the companies I interviewed who took the time to give me a prototype of my home with the new doors so that I could envision what it would look like. Also, when Jennifer came to my home, again, she was the only person who brought actual samples of the garage doors so that I could see what I was purchasing.

Once I ordered my garage door, it was delivered and installed in the timeframe that was given when I ordered the door. Wayne did a great job of installing the door and worked hard to get it installed quickly.

A few weeks later when I was looking into getting a new entry door, I went to J Mac again. This time I didn't bother interviewing more companies since I was so happy with the service I received from J Mac with my garage door.

Again, everything was smooth and I am very happy with my brand new garage door and entry door.

Had no reason to call Jmac in the 7yrs since they installed the garage door opener.It was a couple of months ago that I noticed the opener was acting up so I decided to call them to come for a service.The service man(Wayne) came at the scheduled time and proceeded to service the opener.He was through,efficient,friendly and tidy in his work.He explained what was wrong and how much to fix it.He examined the rest of the componets and found some frayed cables.Giving everything a thorough look over saved me another service call in a few months.Highly recommend Jmacdoors

Called them to have my garage door serviced. I selected them mainly due to positive responses in homestars. They took down my information and an appointment was set up. The day of the appointment no one arrived at the scheduled time. I then contacted the office and it seems that my appointment was never entered in the booking calendar byvthe girl that took my initial call. That being said, "J Mac" himself arrived that afternoon and essentially saved the day. He also offered a reason why the appointment was not book and the explanation was plausable but in the end my garage was serviced and I no longer hear the squeeking sound it was making prior to getting my door serviced.

Jim is the original Door guy whisperer. I called the company and specifically requested Jim to come for the service call. He obliviously has other staff though. Anyways, our door is getting on and winching on the bottom sides which is causing certain critters to enter. Well, he fixed the gap problems and enhanced the weather stripping on the virticles as well making the garage warmer, but not stuffy. Great guy, good, and honest. He could have sold me a new door, but we saved mine.

We saw him fixing someone else's garage door. We had been looking for one and had lucked out with them. They fixed a major bolt that had popped out of the wall,, added bolts that the original installer didn't put in. and checked our garage door to make sure it it works properly , It is now quieter and works better. Jim McCormack also gives us the option of paying with a credit card right on the spot and prints the invoice form his truck. Very efficient.

Very pleased with this contractor. Good advice on type of door, type and placement of windows. Came on time, provided good information on the use of the door and potential issues. Cleaned up the area and left at the end of the day with a functioning door.

I had someone that tried to break into my house and in the process damaged the door. Therefore I had A and J Mac Doors to help me replace my damaged door. They did an excellent job in replacing the door.

As I was cleaning out my garage we realized there was a bunch of oil accumulation on the overhead motor that controlled the garage gate. It was kind of gross and sometimes the motor oil would drip on to my car. The gate was also not opening smoothly, and would sometimes pause. We decided it may be worthy to simply get a new motor that would be much more efficient and cleaner. Genie - A&J Mac Doors had many options, and even some greener options. Being environmentalists, we bought into the Green motors and am very happy with their service and products!
