Grate Drain Ontario No Longer In Business

We Recently bought a home in Shelburne ON, our home inspector missed some major cracks that were previously fixed, It rained, they leaked and we were in the dog house with money, We had several estimates and needless to say Ivan from Grate Drain came to our rescue, A stellar gentleman with many years experience brought our stress to a quick close by nearly $5000 less than the next quote. Within a week construction started and within days it was finished, Ivan and his crew were courteous, well knowledgeable and extremely hard working.. In the end the job was done, it rained and we had no water in our basement! Stress gone! Ivan and his crew are amazing, they even cleaned our basement better than it was before, two thumbs up for this company.. would recommend to all with a leaky basement! Thanks again guys!!!

I was very impressed by the service and quality of the products offered by Grate Drain Ontario. I had a problem with iron ochre that typical systems offered by other contractors would not last. I like the face I also had a new sump pump system installed that is quiet and reliable with a back up system that i know will work. I no longer have to ask my neighbours to check my basement when i go away.

I found the prices to be very reasonable. The quality of the work was fantastic, and the installation of the sump system looks great.

We had a leak in our basement there was water all over the place we contacted Grate Drain to obtain a quote to get repairs done to remedy the problem. Ivan from Grate Drain came out and did an inspection he was very through. Once the inspection was completed he advise the work need to fix this issue and prevent it from happening again. The Service was excellent they took approximately 3 days as promised to have the basement looking like new.
I was very surprised at how friendly and courteous the staff was they paid attention to details and ensure that the works was done to our satisfaction. this is a company I will use again and recommend to anyone that is looking for these service.

I had one crack repaired in my basement by Grate Drain of Ontario. After their first visit to assess the problem, they explained to me what was needed to be done & provided me with a free estimate. Then they came in, carefully opened a small portion of the wall, identified where the crack was, and fix it within very short time. The best part of their service is the attention to detail; this Company takes quality to the next level. They are very clean and the owner puts a lot of attention to detail & cares a lot about customer satisfaction. This is something you don’t find very often in this kind of services (Crack repairs).I would recommend this company to anyone.

Shortly after buying our first home we found out that the exterior weeping tiles had failed in places and consequently water was getting into the basement every time it rained. We realized that this was something that must be fixed promptly and proceeded to call companies come to our home and give us estimates on the damage as well as fix the water leak (25k plus). All the companies that we contacted suggested that we should dig around the outside of the house and completely replace the weeping tile. Then we talked to Danny from Grate Drain of Ontario who came and inspected the basement and pointed out all the mould in our basement and discussed the health hazard. He was very knowledgeable and we made the decision to go with Danny’s recommendation to remove all the walls from the inside and put in an interior drainage system. The project took about a week to compete; the crew was friendly, showed up on time every day, and kept us informed throughout the process. We are amazed with the difference in the air quality and the appearance of the finished product. Thanks Grate Drain for making our basement into a safe, dry, healthy living space that our whole family can enjoy! We would highly recommend this company!
