I have an 11 year old dishwasher which was leaking at the base. Dishes on top rack did not come out clean. I talked to Amin day before he came out promptly next day at agreed time.
He asked only that I text model number of appliance, general problem, and said he would be out next day. I was skeptical about putting money into older appliance, and asked him by text if it was worth it. He answered that I would have to pay the fee for him to call, but he would diagnose, and let me decide.
He signed off text back with " I can fix it".
He showed up with his assistant, and did diagnose the problem after examining everything carefully.
Resealing a crack in the base on inside did it.
He advised me how to avoid a recurrence. ( Washer was run too hot with Heat/Dry function, and using Hi Temp wash also unnecessary. )
Next was the clogging of filter ( which was not designed to clog, but did).
Taking things apart to access the problem area and cleaning
thoroughly with industrial vac solved that problem, too.
After the sealant cured, good to go next day.
Will likely get a few more years out of our dishwasher.
