Add A front canopy over front door

Wanted a canopy over my front door, preferred a Canadian manufacturer, many thanks to the staff on the phone that helped me. Cost and shipping was high but was pleased with the results. Despite no instructions on how to install, best guess got it up, and I am overall pleased with he product.

4 Track Stacking Windows

Chris from North York here ... I purchased eleven of the sandstone colour 4 track stacking windows for my cottage screened in porch and I sent all the measurements along with the intent of picking up the windows once completed myself. I ordered them on May 31 and were ready for pickup mid September. These fit perfectly and easily with all the instructions sent with the windows and available on their website. Quality is excellent and add so much more value to our cottage.

4-track Stacking Windows

In mid-February we ordered a set of 12 large 4-track stacking windows and two small fixed windows from CraftBilt Materials Ltd for the veranda at the back of our house. They estimated that the order would be not be ready before mid-May as a result of their difficulty in sourcing materials due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While our delivery date arrived and passed without being updated online, CraftBilt did complete the manufacturing of our windows only two weeks later, understandable under the circumstances. The windows were accurately manufactured according to our measurements (each one was unique) and all of them fit well into our openings and were relatively easy for us to install using the instructions provided by CraftBilt.

The attached pictures show our completed project. We find that the windows slide well within the frames and that they provide lots of flexibility in providing adequate ventilation on hot days. On cool sunny mornings, the windows keep the temperature inside at least 2 degrees warmer than outside which, in combination with a lack of wind, has already allowed us to increase our utilization of the veranda this summer. We’re looking forward to use it even more this fall.

We are very pleased with our window purchase and would highly recommend CraftBilt windows as being of very good quality and value.

Yes, you are right, on a hot sunny day, our standard color aluminum deck boards will get warm but not be warmer than any other decking material, and often cooler. We began operating in April of 1992 after buying assets from Wrisco Ltd. Wrisco was a major supplier of aluminum patio covers, enclosure material and awnings for over 30 years. For 17 years we operated from the old Wrisco location, a 32,000 square foot facility in the Toronto suburb of Markham. In February of 2009, we moved to our current custom designed, 40,000 square foot facility in Ajax, Ontario (just East of Toronto).

Craft-Bilt’s main business is contractor sales of sunrooms, railing, waterproof decking, awnings and patio covers. We manufacture railing kits, canopy kits and sunroom kits. Our line of retractable fabric shades includes: fabric awnings, motorized screens, free standing canopies and canopies for pergolas.

We take a great deal of pride in the engineering behind our products. Proper engineering is important for obtaining building permits. You will find that Craft-Bilt products exceed the industry standard.
