We are so satisfied with our bathroom renovation completed by Lindsay Contracting! In fact, the whole renovation process was a stress-free process. Damian really listened to our needs and used his insight and knowledge to steer us in the right direction. The actual renovation process was expertly handled by Damian and his team from start to finish. He was so knowledgeable and very kind. I will never forget the extra consideration taken in keeping our home and the work space clean and tidy each day considering we have small children in the home. Damian was thorough, communicative, and reliable. We worked together to understand project need to put in a new beam in basement in an old Toronto home, agreed on timelines and budgets, and added the window project based on how the work with Damian was going. The crew was respectful of our home (making sure things were cleaned daily) and worked with us on on noise so we can manage/organize around work from home situations.

Lindsay Contracting was recommended to us when we needed to have a new range hood installed. They were prompt, professional, super clean and efficient. Our job was on time and the kitchen looked great when they were done.
I contacted them them this summer for some deck work and as usual - on time, friendly / easy to deal with and thorough - our deck looks great.

We purchased a house in Toronto and wanted to do a near-complete reno before moving in (full gut of bottom floor, removing structural walls and installing a 30 foot steel beam, 2 complete bathrooms, kitchen, full hardwood floors through the house, redo electrical due to knob and tube etc.). We reached out to 4 contractors on HomeStars and ended up choosing Damian Lindsay of Lindsay Contracting. It was a very easy decision for us.

Of the 4 quotes we received Damian was by far the most professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He showed up on time, with a camera and notepad and we walked through the house discussing what we wanted. He came back with a detailed itemized quote, a large list of references (which all checked out) and a reasonable price. In contrast the other contractors showed up with nothing and threw out random prices which were far too low (and not realistic) or 2x higher than what it actually cost us, and were quite rude.

Throughout the process Damian was available and was always up to speed on our project. He was available to speak at any time and to meet at the house to review the project and any changes. His team was also friendly and knowledgeable. If there were any issues he was helpful in making suggestions, especially when we didn't know which way to go.

Overall, given the horror stories we had heard involving reno stories, we couldn't have been more relieved to have found Damian as he was terrific in helping relieve the stress involved in a reno of this scale. We recommend him to family and friends and will be using him again in the future.

Wow what a transformation!! I had a complete bathroom renovation and repair to the living and dining room ceiling, which had badly "scared" popcorn type finish. It was replaced and crown moulding installed. ..Awesome job by Damien and the crew, a very professional and friendly group, who kept me informed every step of the way. The team ran into unforeseen obstacles with the bathroom reno, which were resolve in a timely manner.
I would definitely refer them to anyone who was looking for a renovation contractor! They'll be my team in the future!

Damian and his team have done two renovation projects for us. The first was our main floor including the removal of a load bearing wall and bathroom. This second project was framing and tiling a basement standing shower. Damian's team did an outstanding job! I don't think I could like it any better. I really appreciate that Damian asked us questions about details throughout the process, so we got exactly what we wanted. They also did this project quickly and disposed of all garbage.

We need a full gut and rebuild of a bathroom last renovated in the 70s and chose Lindsay Contracting based on a recommendation from a friend. It was a wise decision. Lindsay Contracting Company was hired to renovate a bathroom in my duplex that was built in 1930. In the construction of a brand new bathroom, old copper cemented plumbing was removed and a new leveled ceiling and bathroom floor was built. Damian and his team were also extremely helpful in suggesting specific stores for purchasing plumbing fixtures, tiles, as well as with ideas to truly modernize the small space. Although there were some challenges because of the age of the house, the work was completed in less than a month and I am extremely happy with the results.
