Kitchen, Master bathroom Renovation
This update is longer overdue! We had Jimmy in during our renovation in June through August of 2012 as well as 2 subsequent visits for smaller items. For our renovation he completed rough-in work for our kitchen sink (major drainage connection, venting rework, and supply lines), dishwasher (supply lines, connection) and fridge (waterline) as well as a major plumbing overhaul in our master bathroom (dual sinks, shower, bathtub (supply line movement and major venting rework).
Jimmy is very personable and takes the time to explain how he’s going to proceed. He’ll even draw you a picture of what he’s doing! He looks for the most efficient way to proceed as well as makes suggestions for making your life easier should you run into an emergency (e.g. shut off valves on supply line to a dishwasher in case it leaks). For us, he went above and beyond his scope of work. His rates are fair, as we looked at 2 other plumbers to do the same work.
He is responsive, will ask for clarification if faced with a choice of how to proceed (as not all contractors will) and what I appreciated was the fact that he ALWAYS cleaned up at the end of the day. I’d recommended Jimmy to anyone and we appreciated him so much after our reno we’ve had him back in twice since then.
