Hawksdale Landscaping

We were on a tight schedule in having the landscaping complete within 2-3 weeks. The company that was supposed to do it kept pushing it back. Anthony stepped in and delivered. Well Done!

We needed to install a patio and some wooden steps in the backyard and decided to go with Hawksdale after getting 3 quotes since I felt most comfortable with Anthony and their prices seemed reasonable. The estimate we got was lower than the actual price, but it wasn't substantially higher. Anthony provided us with quotes for several options, which was nice. There was also a bit more effort required since Hawksdale doesn't do the carpentry and we had to work with Anthony from Forest Grove (also a pleasant guy to work with). This meant an additional onsite appointment and quote. The actual work started later that originally estimated (by about 2 weeks).
Once the work started, it was completed efficiently and with minimal disturbance. Anthony was able to install stone from any company that we chose (we went with Oaks). The guys that came in were super friendly, worked hard, created very little mess and cleaned up afterwards. Anthony was in touch with us if they couldn't come in because of weather. Hawksdale accommodated some last minute changes and charged a reasonable price for it. Overall, we were happy with the service and the final product. The project took a bit longer to complete because it was done in two parts by two parties, but I fully appreciated that Hawksdale focuses on what they do best and referred us to another company that specializes in carpentry. The result is a well constructed patio and wood steps. I recommend this company to others looking to install something similar.

Anthony gave a great consult, kept me posted as to actual arrival time of crew. On a blistering hot day, crew was cheerful, hardworking and detail oriented. When finished, they walked me through care required and left a clean site. Good follow up.

Anthony and his Hawksdale team did a great job. They completed the job in a timely manner, on budget and left the job site tidy at the end of each day. Anthony is easy to work with, offered different options and was able to accommodate a last minute addition to the project. He was also very resourceful and we would not hesitate to use their company again.

Anthony and his team were personable, but focussed on their work. Anthony was willing to work with a loose design idea and bring it to life, and, as is the case with most projects, adapted well to surprises not of his creation.
The result is a great tiered set of planters and a retaining wall.

He was both patient & knowledgeable with us no matter how many times we wanted to meet up to discuss our job. He was very helpful from selecting the materials to scheduling the work. His crew was professional, on time and cleaned up everyday before they left.
We did our front patio, walkway, driveway edging and back patio in the fall of 2014 - and finished our front landscaping this spring 2015.
We are extremely happy with the results and any issues that may have come up were promptly addressed and looked after. We would not hesitate to use Hawksdale Landscaping again and really enjoyed working with Anthony.

Very good service and follow up from Anthony at Hawksdale. We initially met with him fall 2014 for a project with larger scope; driveway extension and patio for our income property. Even though we didn't receive permit approval for the driveway extension from the city, Anthony was still happy to fit us in for the spring of 2015 for the small patio. The guys who worked on the patio were professional as was Anthony's follow up afterwards. I would highly recommend his services to others. He is a real find.

Last fall we had our front and backyard landscaping done by Hawksdale. It was a big job but they were very efficient and accommodating throughout. Especially when the driveway was being redone. They cleaned up after themselves well and did a fantastic job of both our front and back yards. We get people in the neighbourhood stopping to compliment us on our front and ask what company did the work. We are very happy with Hawksdale Landscaping and would recommend them to anyone who wants to do any type of landscaping, large or small.
