Hawksdale Landscaping

This has been a long year trying to find the right company to re-do our front walkway. Too many companies quoting unnecessary work and others unwilling to quote based on the size of my project as they felt it was too small. for their business.

I was so thankful when I had a chance to meet the team at Hawksdale. With them I found that they really wanted to make sure that the end result was a success not only by delivering what I wanted, but also what was best for the drainage around my house and current landscaping they had to work around.

Every step from picking our stones, to installation, was taken care of with ease and they always were eager to give me answers to my questions. In the end I would say that it felt more like I was having work done by a friend, and I will not hesitate to reach out when I have new projects I want to tackle, or if I simply need an opinion.

I have already reached out to them for a second project at my house as a large section of my fence was knocked down this fall during the November wind storm and I am happy to say I have the exact same opinion of their service this time around.

Anthony Delpero really did a great job repairing my walkway at 35 Buchanan drive, I had a few other people look at it and I do not think that they could have done the same. This is not the first time that i have used Hawksdale Landscaping and I have never been disappointed.

The stairs leading to our front porch had sunk significantly over the years and were no longer within code. More importantly, they were posing a risk to those people that walked up our stairs (especially the elderly).When we tried to get a landscaping company to inspect our stairs and quote on a solution, most of them did not want to help us because the job was not big enough. The standard response was that they would do it for $2,000 (minimum) to justify the exercise. This was quite disconcerting to say the least.

One day when we were driving home, we noticed that Hawksdale Landscaping was doing a job in the area. We decided to call the company to see if they could help us. The owner (Anthony) was extremely pleasant on the phone and sympathetic to our problem. Within 2 hours, he came to our home to inspect our stairs. Unlike all of the other landscaping companies that we had contacted, he was willing to take on our job without hesitation. Much to our surprise, he was prepared to do the work at a fair and reasonable price without taking advantage of us and our pocketbook.

The owner and his crew were pleasant to deal with when they came by to do the job. They were extremely respectful of our property and took the time to explain everything that we needed to know about the actual work that they would be doing.

My wife and I were totally blown away with the way things turned out. Hawksdale Landscaping met and exceeded all of our expectations. Based on our overall experience, we would have no problem recommending them to other home owners.

We first contact them on Aug/2014, within a week we receive a detailed quote; then the job was completed within a week of our approval (actually sooner than their own estimates).

Working with Hawksdale proved to be a positive experience for me. After trying to get a few quotes Anthony was the one who was the most informative & knowledgable. He spent a lot of time during the measuring appointment and reviewing the quote for the job. He provided references to check the quality of his work. He personally took me to choose the colour of stone for the project. His professionalism on the job was unmatched by any I have seen. He showed resect to his employees who were also very good at their job and easy to get along with. I have already given them a referral to a friend of mine and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a job well done! Hawksdale definitely went out of their way to make me a happy customer.

Anthony and his team redid our front staircase to our complete satisfaction. Anthony quoted with options for us to consider to save money and completed the work within two weeks of contract. He worked with our older foundation and used creativity to ensure a refined product without rebuilding from scratch. We would use Hawksdale again.

Major landscaping renovation of front yard, backyard and pool deck as well as addressing property drainage issues. Hawksdale Landscaping assisted us with the landscaping design, removal of old trees/shrubs and installation of all components (rockery, plants, new pool deck, driveway) of the job and the result is fabulous! They were very knowledgeable, reliable and more than met my expectations. I am now thoroughly enjoying my property to the fullest. As a result I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of expert landscapers.

We met with Anthony twice in planning the project and our gut feeling was that he would deliver a quality job. Once on site, Anthony explained each step of the project and presented options where appropriate. His great team worked hard and completed the project on time and budget.
