Used Accurate Movers for a move the end of June from one apartment to another in Toronto. I had emailed all the details including the location of the moving room access ahead of time plus verbally confirmed this detail on the phone the night before but they still went to the wrong location on the morning of my move.
The move went reasonably well, except for the over two hour delay in the middle. They had a team of three who ensured all our furniture was wrapped up nice and tight. If I consider the fact that they got us between point A and point B I would consider the move somewhat of a success.
However, when they were packing the service elevator something fell against the door and caused a malfunction. A service technician had to be called to reset the elevator which resulted in a bill of over $400. Since they were in the elevator and caused the malfunction I would have expected the movers to take responsibility for their action and at least share the cost of the repair but no.
Given the fact that we had this additional charge, plus the delay, I would say this was a very expensive and frustrating move.
