This company quit our job, suddenly with absolutely no notice! We showed up on a Monday am and the site was cleared out. He abandoned the job with 3 floors of my family home completely open to the weather, elements, animals and anyone who might enter and vandalize. He framed the house without understanding the architectural plans. He quit in the summer and it took us 4 months to hire another contractor. He took our deposit. A 4 month job left us living in 2800$ per month condo for 1.5 years with our kids and dog. He has no conscience whatsoever! Do not hire this company

Mike and his team completed a complete hit job renovation for me a few years ago. I was so fortunate to have he and his team working for me.

Mike himself is such a professional individual who is responsive and helps guide you through the process. As a single person buying and renovating for the first time, I was so happy to have his expertise. He was so helpful that he acted as a designer and contractor in one.

His crew were very professional and came and left on time, respected my home and space and worked diligently. They were pleasant to have and worked with me to create the home I dreamed of.

Mike was particularly wonderful, going above and beyond what I would expect from a contractor- recognizing my desires and limitations but also helping me to design and suggesting unique aspects.
The work itself was meticulously crafted, very detail oriented and everyone who comes to my home comments on what an amazing renovation that was done.

Mike did work for us about a 18 months ago. He constructed some closets, built in some custom shelving units and organized a couple trades (etc). Mike's work was top-notch and he was a pleasure to work with. He has a great eye for detail and quality and really understood our aesthetic. We look forward to working with him again!

My neighbour and I finally decided to join forces and have our old, falling backyard fence replaced. Mike and his crew demolished the old fence including the foundation and replaced it with a carefully laid out, beautiful cedar fence. Mike was very easy to work with: always punctual and courteous, he listened carefully while also making useful suggestions along the way. The workmanship is very good and everything was done on time and on budget. I would definitely recommend Mike and his crew.

When we approached Bright Design we did not really have a clear idea of what we were looking for other than we needed to get rid of our small and no longer safe deck. Bright Design talked us through the design process of our new deck, we loved the creativity and their willingness to give us options. Our new deck is 23 x 20 feet and made of composite material. The building inspector said Bright Design was "seriously thorough" and that our deck was built to more then satisfy building codes. Bright Design stayed with our project and we appreciated their commitment to complete the job in a timely manner. We also had new construction windows replaced and the job went quickly and efficiently, we were grateful for the way they always left things clean and with the details finished beautifully.
Right now we are speaking with them about adding a walk-in closet, master bath and two piece guest bath to our home. They are so great about giving us ideas and options. We get the feeling that they are as excited about our projects as we are...that is rare! Jean and Bill G.
