He gave us a quote really quickly and also discussed some of the different options when it came to insulating the flat roof, skylights which was very helpful.

The crew was super friendly and respectful the entire time. We had two skylights put in and the team did a great job in trying to figure out the precise locations where it made the most sense. The quality of the work was fantastic and they cleaned up very well.

Bottom line: If you have a flat roof, there is literally nowhere else to go.

After calling six different roofing companies, I decided to go with Best Flat roofs for two reasons: 1/ they had great reviews on their website and are recommended by Homestars
and 2/ Denys contacted me the same day and stated a conversation about my roofing needs.

I was nervous at the start of the interaction as, let's face it, who amongst us knows anything about our roofs and how it should be repaired? We are entirely reliant
upon the professionalism, knowledge and integrity of the company that is hired. Denys put my anxieties to rest quickly because he came three times to my house
to inspect the roof so that he knew exactly what had to be done. Then, he gave me three options to choose from in regards to to the repairs. I thought that I would
just make a "patching" job initially but after speaking to Denys realized that the best thing to do was to make a complete repair so that I would never have a worry
about any more leaks particularly because I was in the middle of house renovations and did not wish to see my newly renovated space with a water stain down the wall!
Denys and his crew arrived right on time every morning.

In fact, on the original day when work was to start after three hours he announced that he would prefer to return when the weather was better so that the materials
could adhere to the roof better. He didn't have to be that honest: he could have just gone ahead and done the work and I may not have known the difference - but, he didn't.

They came back the next Monday and worked for three days making sure that everything was right. I climbed up on to the roof to see it for myself and it looks great!
And it's white! I didn't expect that. He even fixed my old chimney that is out of use so that nothing falls into it.

So, overall, it's been a very positive experience with Denys and his Best Flat Roofs crew. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about hiring them.

Also, Best Flat Roof worked with me by offering a payment plan or by mitigating the cost of the roof repair which I really appreciated. A roof repair is a huge expense
if you haven't anticipated the cost so any help in planning and/or reducing the cost is very helpful. As a matter of fact, one of the other quotes I received was for fully
double the rate that I was quoted by Best Flat Roofs! I will not name them here but I think that they are unethical and unscrupulous in taking advantage of others.

By the way, Best Flat Roofs was not the lowest quote either as I was wary of hiring that company too, but, as I stated earlier, Denys really reassured me and took the
time to explain everything to me making me feel comfortable.

I had the flat roof of my townhouse balcony repaired back in August of 2020. The owner and his employees fix the leaky roof and collaborated with a door company to fix them at the same time. I am extremely happy with the result. It has a winter now and the snow that melts and/or rain that sits on the roof does not longer leak. They are exceeded my expectations!

I did some research to find this company from all the positive reviews - which are well deserved. Oleg came the day after I called and gave me a quote, showed me a sample of the work they do, and answered all my questions. When I set up the date/time, the crew showed up on time and did a great job, even added a strip of metal flashing along the base of my steps where some mice were gaining access. No mice since. Highly recommend them.

I needed to replace the flat roof at the back of my house. After being unsatisfied by the service/quotes of two other well-regarded roofers, I found Best Flat Roof through an internet search and noted the favourable reviews. Oleg came by to assess the project and came across as very knowledgeable. The quote was fair and competitive so I went with him. Work proceeded on the dates promised and his team seemed very thorough. They cleaned up nicely. The leak issues have been resolved. I ended up referring Best Flat Roof to an acquaintance with a commercial property on Bloor Street who had an issue with her building's flat roof. Oleg came by and determined that the roof was in good shape but that the drain had not been properly connected--he recommended that a plumber be contacted. This suggests to me that Oleg is trustworthy, an important consideration!

The owner, Oleg, was responsive, professional & provided outstanding communication both during the initial consultation about what work would be done, and also while the work was underway. Our project included re-roofing an older flat roof that was in poor condition, re-shingling our front porch roof, and replacing some flashings, trims and an eavestrough on the front of the house. Pricing was competitive and add-ons (requested by us including the additional trim, eavestrough and flashing work) were also priced fairly. Oleg was flexible with the schedule, accommodating our requests. The crew assigned to our project completed the work quickly, and were hard-working and skilled. Oleg did an amazing job of fixing my large flat roof. I purchased the house and the previous owner had been putting tar and patching the roof for many years - it was in terrible shape resulting in leaks. Oleg's company tore up the roof and put a new one. The work was well done - someone independent inspected the roof and commented on the good workmanship. I had many quotes and this company's quote was fair and I felt confident in their reputation. If I ever have another roof to do, I will call them.

My roof was leaking and I was very stressed about having it fixed but I am happy to report that Oleg and his team made it as low-stress as possible from start to finish.
