Dutch Landscaping

This guy is a joke. With a $25,000 deposit and a yr later.. still no pool. never, EVER answers his phone or replies to texts.
Please do NOT go with this man, he is a complete sham.

This space does not hold the amount of negative information I could provide after dealing with Dave and Dutch Landscaping. First, his lack of communication is abhorrent- to the point where he doesn’t show up or notify us of his absence for a date he is meant to work resulting in a burst hot tub pipe. It has been over a year and we have yet to begin installation on our pool. Despite having all the materials needed since November, Dave continually gives excuses for not doing his job. He is now avoiding all communication with me. DO NOT HIRE DUTCH LANDSCAPING!!

Dutch Landscaping has followed through with his new contract with us and he has full filled part one of two. We hope that both parties move on successful in 2020

Our dealing with Dutch Landscaping was very pleasurable. Dave and his crew came in and transformed our yard into the most beautiful yard. We couldn't visualize what there plans where (we did have some ideas) but Dave and his wife Monika provided a 3D plan for us so we could see exactly what our yard would become.
The job was about a week late, but that was due to some bad weather and of no fault to the contractor. If your looking for professional quality and service then i definitely recommend Dutch Landscaping.

First of I need to say that the review submitted as a first in line of reviews is very misleading and inaccurate considering the writer gave the "builder" 10/10 stars. If any person actually reads it carefully it becomes apparent that there were serious issues that resonate throughout the project. (mess, major delays, lack of supervision etc...) So please Helen, in the future award the stars with some consideration for other potential clients, if you really wish to be helpful in their decision making. Our experience with Dutch Landscaping equals to the nightmare. Poor quality, lack of professionalism, extreme delays where 3 week project turned out to be almost 5 months long. Now after 2 years since the completion, the outdoor stone patio is falling apart, retaining walls a leaning in every different direction, steps are tilting and cracking. I am not even going to mention what an independent construction firm said about the "quality" of this job. When we asked the new company about ways of fixing the issues, we were told the problems are so severe that only complete demolition could correct what was built by Dutch Landscaping. It is needless to say that one star I am giving to this company is only for the efforts one their helpers (?) - summer student, who was assigned to build our outdoor fireplace without any prior experience. Another star needs to be given to Dave for partially compensating the hell we had to live trough during this project by "throwing in" some additional features. At the end it was only a small "band-aid" for the frustration caused by endless piles of mess left on the site throughout the summer, major delays, lack of quality of work and experience of staff delivering it. Our concerns were continuously brought to the owner, especially if Dave would actually answer the phone calls, emails or make himself available for the meeting, which did not happen as desired. The more I write about my experience the more it brings back the memories of complete desperation and frustration with this company which only made me realize how extremely difficult it is to find a good and reputable company that will deliver the desired product for the money you are spending on it. Therefore I can not recommend Dave and his landscaping company to anyone.

Dave, from Dutch Landscaping came and gave us a quote intially on landscaping with greens only. Then decided to rip wood deck out and incorporate a stone deck, walkway, and front entrance granite pad. Lots of work which took virtually the whole summer. The end result was well worth the wait. Head contractor on site for most of the job but would encourage that supervisor be on site 100% of the time. Would advise contractor to stay more with one job, get it finished and then move on to another to avoid delays. Hard to live in nice neighbourhood with nice neighbours and...... dirty, messy job going on all summer - some issues were not the contractors fault but the supplier.
