We hired JPM to fully renovate our bathroom and were very happy with the results. The crew was professional, on time, on budget, and as a bonus, very friendly. They went the extra mile to leave the house clean at the end of each day and were very helpful when i was unsure of design choices etc. Our bathroom is now my favourite part of our house and I would recommend JPM to anyone looking to upgrade their home!

Richard Landry of JPM Construction completed the renovation of my mother's condo on time and on budget. Richard managed the project and he and his crew coordinated every stage efficiently and creatively, adopting and improving on my suggestions along the way. He supplied top-quality materials and he and his crew gave us attentive service. The result: My mother was thrilled when she moved in - with her brand new kitchen, luxurious master bathroom and a functional design. She is proud to show off her new home to family and friends and praised me for choosing a great contractor. I recommend Richard and JPM for any residential construction.

We had been contracted to insulate a basement from the homeowner (the home owner being a close friend), and the current contractor walked out of the job. The home owner gave us a budget and we called up JPM to see if they could finish off what was left of the basement. Which was drywall, paint and floors.

I hired Jussi and his team 4 years ago to finish my basement, on the advice of a neighbour whom Jussi has worked with. JPM did an excellent job for us. Whenever I had any questions (even years later) Jussi was never more than a phone call away, and was always a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. I regularly see his trucks and equipment around the area...this is no "fly by night" operation.

Now I am moving to a new house, and I have already been in touch with Jussi to discuss some renos.

Jussi and his guys were great from start to finish. They did an amazing job on the kitchen. It was a difficult job because of the size of the kitchen and the structural work that need to be done. They also did amazing stone work in the front entrance and put cut out the hole in the side of the house and installed patio doors. Very nice to work with and honest. Would recommend their service to anyone looking for good quality and good value added service.

My entire experience was exceptional. The renovations occurred over a 2 year period in stages. The integrity of JPM and all their workers always impressed me. One example is my full kitchen renovation. I considered hiring a designer when Jussi at JPM suggested he bring in his cabinet maker (at no extra fee) to design the kitchen. I described what I needed in that space and I was surprised a few weeks later with the PERFECT kitchen (and saved huge costs by not using a designer). The workmanship is impressive from the simplest as tile work and flooring in the house to the fencing and shed in the backyard. They even laid the new grass for me and just finished with asphalting the driveway this morning. An overall good experience. I have many friends that have used JPM after I told them my experience and they saw my renovations. They have all been very very happy. JPM is a company that I know I can always count on!!!!!

We have dealt with many contractors over the years, and this company was recommended to us by our painter. We have to say that we have never dealt with a team who were so professional, and so personable - the workmanship quality was outstanding, they were always on time, and stayed on budget. They are truly a breath of fresh air in this industry, and a delight to deal with.

The reno, which should have been completed in less than one month, dragged on for over six months. Near the end, there were so many delays, mistakes, hazardous installations and unfinished work which I complained about but were not addressed that the owner Jussi abandoned the job. He never did the work himself, but had about a dozen different people doing the work (I doubt any were licensed), as they didn't even know how to install a toilet, and when it was installed by another company, we found out it was connected to a HOT water supply. The original bill of $9700.00 required over $12000 in repairs from a new contractor. And when I didn't pay Jussi the outstanding $2700, he took me to Small Claims Court, which dragged on for three days and I thus counter-sued him.

The Small Claims Court ruled that I owed Jussi $5300. He had demanded over $10 000. The Judge stated he would not get any court costs as we both would be responsible for our own legal fees. I had offered him nearly $4000. So Jussi hired a lawyer, spent 3 days in court and received an additional $1300. I don't know of any decent contractor that would waste that kind of time. And even with the money I spent on a paralegal. I still saved thousands off his ridiculous invoice. Plus the photos speak for themselves.
