Claudio and his team recently completely our basement renovation. We are thrilled with the quality of work and final result, that added a bedroom, bathroom, storage room, gym, lounge and playroom to our home. Claudio and his team quoted a fair price for a very large job and got started promptly. His quotes are detailed so you understand what you are paying for. Underpinning is a very big job, and Claudio's team was more than capable, they were terrific.

The trades he used were great, and all nice people, which was important as we were still living in the house. The most important thing is that Claudio really cares that his clients are happy and will go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with the finished product. Everything looks absolutely fantastic; we get compliments from everyone who sees the work. I would recommend Canary Construction and Claudio.

Claudio quickly replied to my request to check out a leak that was getting worse. There was something wrong with the upstairs en suite and water was coming into our kitchen through a pendant. He arrived the next day and his team found the problem and got to work. They fixed the upstairs leak, repaired and replaced all the drywall and paints to spec. His urgency in getting the job fixed saved us from a minor disaster. They arrived each day on time and cleaned up like it was their own home. Will happily use for larger projects again.

If I could give Claudio and his landscaping team more stars I would. This past summer I had the privilege of having Canary oversee my backyard Reno. They worked on my patio stones and garden walls. After speaking to other companies who said it would be impossible for them to do the job because of the small entrance to they yard, Claudio and his team took on the job making my backyard dreams become a reality. They worked quickly and with so much attention to detail. They were constantly checking in and ensuring that I was happy with their work. We recently needed to improve the accessibility of our house adding wall railings on two sets of stairs and upgrading a bathroom.
We had a short timeframe to complete these changes. Based on our very positive experience with Canary Construction a few years ago, we hired them again for this project.
The new wall railings are a perfect match for the existing stair railings. They provide the safety factor we needed, and also look fabulous.
Our very small bathroom was a challenge. Claudio and his team magically created a very beautiful bathroom, with a zero threshold shower, built in bench, easily reachable water controls, and appropriately placed grab bars. They transformed a bathroom that was potentially dangerous to one that is functional and relaxing.
Everyone anticipates home renovations to be stressful. Our experience with Canary Construction is that Claudio relieves much of that stress. He and his team are professional, reliable, and fair. Claudio is readily available throughout the project to answer any questions and address any concerns. Canary Construction continues to be our first (and only) choice for home renovation projects. Claudio and his crew, as always, had excellent communication, a competitive price and did fantastic work. We fixed up our veranda, removed inbuilt planters and had grass and flagstone installed. The work was done quickly and we are very happy with it.
