Smooth Movers

I hired The Smooth Movers for muscle only - I had booked my own truck since it was an out-of-city move and just needed help loading. Ricardo and Chris showed up extremely promptly (5 minutes before their scheduled time) and were both friendly and extremely professional. They were incredibly efficient, took great care of our belongings and loaded with expertise (fit everything in perfectly even though we were very concerned it would not all fit!). I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. Incredible value for money. I did NOT have this great of an experience on the other end (with a different moving company). I highly recommend Smooth Movers.

The Smooth Movers and Services assisted me with 4 moves over the last 6 years. I'm more than pleased with their customer services and they are very helpful. I would most definitely recommend them to everyone I know in need of movers. I realized there's a different company by the name of The Smooth Movings. They are NOT the same company, so don't be fooled. I made the mistake once and realize it was not this company and I regret it. The Smooth Movers and Services, you all have perfect service and keep up the great work.

The Smooth Movers and Services are great. They made my move stress free and the cleaning was on top of things. Thank you guys so much. I will definately be recommending this company to all my friends.

I did a move last week from Barrie to Toronto. I heard horror stories and was hesitant, but the price was good. So I told myself my not, what's life if you don't take risks. The were about 30mins late. I was worried that they would have charge my extra, but they didn't. The guys were professional in wrapping and packaging. They were very polite and hard working. I would recommend this company to everybody. .

I had at least 75 pieces of really old dishes and exotic chinaware, so this is definitely a concern when moving. It actually prevented me from moving for over two years. Now, thanks to you, I’m settled in my new place and my very fragile collection is also with me, every single piece!

These people are THEIVES ... I had my stuff moved from my apartment to a POD to relocate to the states. Unfortunately 8 months later when I went to unload my POD my WEDDING gifts (which were in the original boxes) were GONE. Over $1000 worth of WEDDING GIFTS are GONE and obviously considered a tip by these THEIEVES. As we obviously cannot do anything at this stage of the game (it's been over a year), I suggest to ANYONE MOVING ... MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE TRUCK to make sure that your STUFF is not COVERED BY A blanket and taken for a tip.

We hired Smooth Moving to move us out of our two bedroom apartment to our very first Home we where so excited with the new home and because we had to move during the week we had to hire a moving company to help out. Our agreement was three movers and they quoted us about 5-7 hours to move us well that was a joke on us let me tell you they showed up with two guys one of them had emphysema and it was his first day on the job so we basically only had one experienced mover. It took them a total of 12 hours to move us and in the process they had damaged our couch, one night stand, our kitchen table, our buffet table, our wardrobe, coffee table, our Driveway with the hydraulic lift from the truck, a camera, a kitchen leather chair & much much more.
We when with Smooth moving because they had a good insurance policy and they where able to send us three movers because we only had the elevator for three hours at our apartment... What a mess I have never been more terrified and upset in my whole life they destroyed our furniture and so many items that meant so much to us when we contacted the owner to let him know that the movers where not professional and that they where not covering our furniture with blankets and that they where getting a really long time to move one item at a time the owner said that he was too busy at that he what settle everything that they had damaged after.... Well that was not true after the move we tried contacting the owner again and he said that he was not replacing or fixing anything, my reaction was stunned at this point we where stuck they where holding all of our furniture in their truck and was not letting anything out until we paid the $800 dollars for the move. We where stuck so we paid the $800 to get our furniture out of the truck. So many of our things where damaged because they did not strap anything down in the truck....WHAT A MESS.
Watch out people Smooth Moving is not a professional company the owner is getting temp people to work for them just so that they can make a buck... Stay away from this company and please tell all your friend I would hate to see other go through what we had to go through. Check out some of the damages that they caused during the move that the company will not replace or pay for.

This company moved me twice: once from house in Mississauga to storage and second time from storage to three storey house in Toronto. They were very carefull with my antique furniture and did not do any damage. I was very happy with service and price

DISASTER! I asked Ziggy at Smooth Movers to move 5 items from my parents estate and they broke 2 expensive lamps. The company advertises that they are bonded and insured but they offered no coverage or compensation. Not even an aoplogy!Highly suggest you skip this company. They do not stand behind their word.
