Once again ZHI delivered more than expected. As in most old homes things change ... walls and ceilings come down and things get messy. Zoltan never flinches ... he stays calm and carries on. The end result is always beautiful. The project started on time and was on budget and his sub-trades are excellent. This was our third reno with ZHI. Why go anywhere else?

We interviewed several general contractors and Zoltan was the only one that would not provide a ballpark estimated cost until he priced it out thoroughly. This gained my respect for his integrity and sensibility. Zoltan kept the project on track by consistently altering course if any delays occurred. By doing this he brought the project in on-time and on-budget. Zoltan gave us daily updates and was on the jobsite every single day of the project overseeing all work being done. His workmanship is exceptional and his integrity is beyond expectations. He made what was expected to be a most stressful endeavor for us, as smooth and stress-free as we ever thought was possible. I know I will be going to Zoltan when our next renovation is needed and I would gladly recommend him to anyone who has a project they are pursuing.

Because I had been pleased with several of Zoltan's smaller projects, both indoors and out, I asked him to renovate my ensuite bathroom, replacing the bathtub with a walk-in shower.

I am thrilled with both the process and the result.

I have an old house and had some issues with wind infiltration through the windows and front door, along with a small leak in a water supply pipe and a hole in the ceiling from a previous plumbing repair.

He even noticed a loose door hinge on his way out and tightened it up, allowing the door to close without being forced. I appreciate this kind of attention to detail.

I wouldn't hesitate to call him again when something else needs fixing :)

Zoltan did a tremendous job restoring many different areas of brick in my old house (built in 1902). He took much care to ensure the brick looked perfect and matched the existing brick. Part of the job was cutting new basement window openings and one door opening and installing new lintels. He used the original stone for the window sills where possible. Zoltan showed up on time, with the right tools and equipment to get the job done with pride and professionalism. Everything turned out great! Looking forward to the next project!

Zoltan was great to work with. He was polite, asked for direction, and cleaned up thoroughly each night. We are very pleased with our new bathroom and have plans to contract with Zoltan again.

Being new to Guelph we weren't sure who to go with and decided to trust the reviews on Homestars. Zoltan was professional, on time, hard working, and did beautiful work. We were not disappointed. He also left all spaces clean and tidy. We'll be asking him first for any further home improvement/keep up.

Zoltan did a very meticulous and precise work lowering our bed frame. He was on site perfectly on time, and made the bed even stronger than it was before. He had all the tools needed and he comes across as very intelligent which is an asset as a handy man. He is also very polite and communicates in a fine fashion. Highly recommended.
