We have a 1960 built house and the original electrical service was a 100 AMP service into a 100 amp panel and a 12 breaker sub panel with 4 circuits doubled up. Plus the mast was below the eaves, and new code requires it to be above the roof line.
We got estimates from a couple of Electricians, with the cost anywhere from $1500 to just below $6000.
We went with Robart Electrical, due to the large number of positive reviews Robart had, the time he took to assess the code requirement changes, and the detailed estimate he provided. We knew exactly what we were going to get, that it was going to take all day, and that Robart Electrical was going to coordinate with Epcor (for power cut off, meter upgrade, and power reconnect).
