Dryer would not turn on..Whirlpool Dryer 4 years old..Called Appliance Force..they showed up the next day at the agreed time. Repair man was polite and in a few minutes diagnosed that the problem was the switch on the door. He did not have the required part with him, but was able to bypass the switch and make the dryer work, stating that he would return with the part within a week. I was OK with this and also agreed to let him leave the dryer disassembled so that when he returned with the part it would be an easier install for him..he also stated that when the part came in they would call us and set up a time for the install, probably within the week. A month passed, we called, they said they expected the part to arrive next week
Over the next 4 months we called monthly
Only to be told each time the part was on order..Finally after 16 weeks we called and said we wanted the part number so that we could find it ourselves..within a day the part was being installed in our dryer...very very poor customer service..

Thank you for your feedback. It's great to hear that our service technician was both timely and polite. Unfortunately the part was discontinued by the manufacturer after it was ordered. We feel your pain as we are both at the mercy of the manufacturer. We had to make alternate arrangement to get this part for yourself and as soon as it was procured, we installed it. We understand that it is frustrating when the equipment you rely on breaks down and we do our best to get it fixed for you as soon as we possibly can! Regards, Appliance Force"
