City Vibe Contracting Inc. No Longer In Business

Please be aware I found out that this company today goes by the name of Lemarg Inc. now and still has the same owner Russell Elensky. Many of you may not know but it’s something to consider this company is now operating under a new name and it’s LEMARG INC in Woodbridge.

Pipe burst in the middle of the night, City Vibe "specialists" show up, consisting of two middle aged women and a teenage girl in plainclothes, under the supervision of their "manager" who was in full construction gear. Equipped with two mops and two buckets, they immediately upon arrival they began to cut up the carpet without first removing water. I told them to stop, and was giving a long (and very well rehearsed) speech from the "manager" about how the insurance will buy all new things for the house, and that I should let them tear out the drywall. Realising their unprofessional intentions, I got them out of my property and gave the job to a veritable company.

Two weeks later, we get a bill in the mail for $1400. The breakdown of the bill was for: late night service call, complete water removal, disposal of damaged property, drying fan rental and "overhead". After refusing to pay, the company owner (named Russell) threatened various members of my family over the phone, and would continually insist that he would "ruin our credit" and would remind us that he "has all of our information". After threatening legal action, he yielded and we paid $250.

BEWARE!

House flood occurred due to burst pipes. City Vibe heavily demolished areas without consent in unsupervised house (only to seek reward a potential rebuild). No quote was provided by CityVibe for work and was mislead and coached by City Vibe into thinking that insurance pay all the time. Insurance gave final statement for non-payment, City vibe invoiced me for $30K, after court City Vibe and myself settled for $11K.I did not choose CityVibe to rebuild. Questionable work ethics, and felt taken advantage while in a traumatic situation.

Outrageous over-billing. $5,000 for removing 270 sqft of wet laminate plus drying equipment. Website claims IICRC certification, but company not listed on IICRC website, and not displaying official IICRC logo.

City Vibe Contracting inc did an extremely high degree of quality service at our condo, we are pleased with service and would recommend them for any one with renovation needs.

I contacted City Vibe Contracting Inc. back in May 2012 and asked for a comlete finishing of my basement. The response was immediate and professional, right from the beginning it felt like they are professionals. Russell gave me a large variety of flooring samples, tiles, wall colors etc...The design he presented to mebefore he started tured out even better when the basement was done. I am very happy with Russell from City Vibe Contracting Inc. and recommend them to everyone!!!
