After delaying a renovation for many years we approached Floor and Bath Design after receiving an outstanding recommendation from a friend. The friend mentioned them to be on time, on budget, clean and great to deal with.
We went to their show room in Pickering and were greeted by Naya who ended up being our designer. She was friendly, knowledgeable, not the least bit pushy but took us through a design process that had us completely choosing something other than what we had originally intended.
She was so patient with us as we came back and forth several times before making a decision on design. She quickly costed out the project and provided us with a detailed design, concept drawings and pricing. It was great to be able to see what our new bathroom would look it.
As we needed to ensure we were getting a fair price we went to other companies to obtain quotes. Not only were they not very helpful they truly were not listening to us and when their pricing came in they were not any cheaper. Their idea of a design process was to walk us around their outdated and somewhat dirty show room with a note pad. They did a few drawings but refused to share them with us as they thought we would give them to the competition.
Naya then walked us through the process, payment schedule etc. She advised that they would not give us a final start date as they wanted to make sure they had all of the materials onsite before beginning. She advised they had hope to start in August (which they did). From day one, the primary employee on site, Greg, was amazing. He walked us through the different steps, kept us informed as to progress, ensure our bedroom and areas around the bathroom were kept clean and clear. Whenever he had a small suggestion he would come and see us and we talked it through, he advice was always bang on.
Greg's finishing work was second to none from the plumbing, tile work, baseboards, painting etc. He also advised us as to times when electricians and the glass company would be onsite. Again these trades were on time and worked with us to ensure we were happy.
I really cannot speak highly enough of them. Naya and Greg were both outstanding partners in our new bathroom. We will be looking to them first in the coming years for our other bathroom and our kitchen.
