Rick Appliance Repair

We called Rick and he quickly scheduled us in. Called and showed up when he said he would. He came prepared and was able to deal with the issue immediately. Even took the time while the dryer was open to service more than just the issue at hand as a preventative measure. Honest, straight forward and very reasonably priced. We will definitely use his services in the future if needed.

Our Bosch dishwasher sprung a leak and I called Rick to take a look. He arrived when he said he would, diagnosed the issue (leaking internal water valve). He had the part already on hand and the repair was made. Both Rick and his son were very pleasant to work with.

As far as I can tell, being a technician for 30 years on everything but refrigeration all I needed was instruction on how the controls worked. I don't believe the module failed but they replaced anyways at inflated parts and labour rates. I will never use your company again and I will definitely not recommend your company.

I am very impressed with Rick Appliance Repair. I called them on a holiday Monday expecting to leave a message, but the phone was answered promptly by Rick who indicated he would be able to look at my dishwasher, which seemed to have no power, the following afternoon. He was as good as his word: he and his son Ravi arrived exactly when expected, determined that the problem lay with wires improperly capped, not with control panel issues, and had the problem fixed within 30 minutes. Very professional and reasonably priced; I would not hesitate to contact them again for any appliance repair.

Had to use Rick's appliance repair on 2 occasions in the past couple of months. Both times, the experience was great. The first time, my washer was no longer tumbling....Rick came by, diagnosed the problem and fixed it under 1 hr. (cost with parts was $150). On the second occasion, my dishwasher was dead. Rick took it apart, determined it was the control panel and board and recommended I purchase a new one (cost was $60)

Rick is quite professional and polite, he does not come across as a know-it-all and is very prompt. On both occasions, he called before the actual appointment time to see if he could come by earlier. He works quickly and takes care with property, ensuring that the work area is clean afterwards. Would highly recommend

My dishwasher was dead. It made noise, but wouldn't do anything. Rick came by and quickly diagnosed the problem as a kink in a drainage hose installed by our kitchen renovators. He fixed it and the machine works like new again.
While he was here, he reattached a troublesome freezer handle.

Rick was available at a moments notice and repaired our dryer in a couple of hours. He was on time, had the parts available to complete the repair (rather than provide a separate service call to estimate). Professional and friendly.

This is our second time calling Rick to our home for a repair. He came on time and with an apprentice being his son. The first time was for our Kitchen Aid Dishwasher and this past week was for a non working burner on our same make stove.

He was honest, timely and personable and his son joining the family business, we would welcome them into our home anytime and will be the first repair service we call in the future.

We highly recommend Rick as we have to many friends and family.

My 8+ year old refrigerator was not cooling properly. Gave Rick a call and he was in the next morning with a replacement part. It's been over a month since the repair and the refrigerator is still working great.

Would highly recommend Rick. I was pleased with his efficiency, honesty, technical knowledge and patience in answering my questions.

My dryer was making a very loud noise. Over the phone, Rick thought that it could be the drum and the part would cost approximately $110.00 When he arrived to do the repair he found that it was just some lint - well maybe a lot of lint - that was causing the problem. The lint was removed, he replaced some clamps and left a happy customer.

Rick was efficient, courteous tidy, patient answering all my question AND HONEST. It is so nice to find someone who is honest.

Would I have Rick back for a repair? YES I WOULD!
