Mid West Moving & Storage Services

They moved us from Chilliwack to Lethbridge & our experience was not pleasant. They quoted, and we agreed to, a fixed price contract & then they asked unsuccessfully for more money when it became apparent they had underquoted the move. Part of our belongings were left in the garage of our Chilliwack home after the new owners took possession. The packer/movers they contracted in Chilliwack certainly weren't the well dressed packer/movers showing on their website. Our PS4, 2 controllers, their charging stand & all our PS4 games went missing during the move, even though the TV the PS4 was hooked up to, and all the other contents of our games room did arrive in Lethbridge. Our Selphy photo printer also went missing, as well as several Airsoft magazines. 2 of our Google home minis also went missing. When friends and family ask about our move, we tell them to not to use this company. At least they did finally find the one arm chair that was missing from our dining room set.

they gave me one pickup date for vehicle before i paid in advance, and another date once they received payment.
gave me one delivery date for my property before apid, and another date after i paid.
after providing pictures and documentation of damage and breakage from move, they will not return emails or phone calls.

Lowina, is perhaps the most unprofessional person i have ever dealt with, she is a misleading, misquoting, insulting person who has no business being in business.

Missed many items and the packing was terrible. Bad management . One item was found after 1 week which indicated that it was hidden . They asked me to write a claim and I am still waiting.
Terrible

Everything was delivered on time, professional and in good enough condition, except for 2 shelving units and 3 bikes. Reason, there wasn’t enough room in the container because they move multiple homes. So some of my stuff didn’t make it. My ONLY mode of transportation is our bikes. Delivery was on April 16 with the promise by the driver that it would be delivered in a couple weeks and has already been shipped from Brampton, Ontario to their depot in Alberta. Spoke with Anne in Alberta again today, April 29. Nope the stuff is still in Brampton and will not be shipped until they have a container full at least 3 weeks or more. She HUNG up on me. VERY unprofessiona!

The quote from Mid West Moving was HALF the price of the others, and they were also able to schedule on very short notice. I even had to reschedule, and they were incredibly nice about it.

Highly recommend. Had a 12 o'clock Saturday appointment, the guys were there 15 min early. They were very efficient, quick but careful. One of the best experiences I've ever had with a moving company.

Fantastic. The scheduling office was easy to work with, flexible and accommodating. The movers were so pleasant, they worked hard and were very careful. All of this at the lowest quoted price. Everything you could ask for in a mover. Highly recommend.

A few days ago, I used Mid West Moving for the first time. I decided to contract with them because they had excellent reviews. They are the best I've ever used: professional, efficient, congenial, reasonable, and trustworthy. They deserved the best tip I've ever given to movers.

They were quick and efficient and didn't waste any time whatsoever. They treated my things with care and I was very grateful for that! I would highly recommend hiring them and would definitely use them again! Thanks guys!
